Becoming A Go-Giver For Success

Many people who are striving to be successful
consider themselves as go-getters. However, along
their journey for success, oftentimes their plans
to get there are missing some of the main ingredients.
For greater success it is more important to focus on
becoming a go-giver rather than a go-getter.

I want to share some advice on how to guarantee your
success. I read this great book called The Go-Giver by
Bob Burg and John David Mann. it gives five laws that
really lay out the road map to success.

1. The Law of Value-giving more in value than you take
in payment is what determines your true worth.

2. Law of Compensation-means your income will be
determined by how many people you serve well.

3. Law of Influence-When you place other's interests
first, will determine how you influence people.

4. Law of Authenticity-The most valuable gift your can
offer is yourself.

5. The Law of Receptivity-many quote that it's better
to give than receive. The key to effective giving
is to always remain open to receiving.

As long as you incorporate these five laws of Stratospheric
into your life, you are headed for success. You are now
becoming a go-giver.

Your Self Talk Is Crucial

Thank You Patti for your great lesson on
chapter 3 of Think and Grow Rich by
Napoleon Hill. Self talk is crucial for
your success.

FAITH

Napoleon Hill makes the following statements about
FAITH...
* Faith is the Head Chemist of the mind, so obviously
I need it.
* Faith is a state of mind which may be induced,
created... by affirmation or repeated instructions to
the subconscious mind, through the principle of auto
suggestion.
* Faith is a state of mind I may develop at will.
* Repetition of affirmation of orders to my sub
conscious mind is the only known method of VOLUNTARY
development of the emotion of faith.
* Any impulse of thought which is repeatedly passed
on to the subconscious mind is, finally, accepted and
acted upon by the subconscious mind, which proceeds to
translate that impulse into its physical equivalent by
the most practical procedure available.
* All thoughts which have been emotionalized (given
feeling) and mixed with faith begin immediately to
translate themselves into their physical equivalent or counterpart.
* My belief, or faith, is the element which determines
the action of my subconscious mind.
* It is essential for me to encourage the positive
emotions as dominating forces of my mind, and discourage
and eliminate negative emotions.
* A mind dominated by positive emotions becomes a
favorable abode for the state of mind known as faith.
A mind so dominated may, AT WILL, give the subconscious
mind instructions, which it will accept and act upon
immediately.

OK...I could go on and on--in fact, my favorite page
in this chapter is just ahead...BUT GUESS WHAT? This
is NOT some phenomenon we've never experienced before.

We ALL know how to do this already. We've been doing
it since the day we were born.

We think about what we want or don't want (fear) and
what we DECIDE we really, really desire, or what we
really, really fear, and... WALLA...our life becomes
blessed or doomed with whatever we desired or feared--
or what we thought about and believed and sprinkled
some emotion on day after day!

NOW we KNOW it WORKS! All we really need to do is
take one more step and use our self-talk like its
an inhaler that we need for our "asthma" and breathe
deeply of that pre-written self-talk as many times
per day as we need to breathe--you know, like Michael
always says..."You need it MORE than you need oxygen".

If I am too preoccupied or too lazy to take time to
bathe and brush my teeth, would the people around me
continue to put up with me day after day without
squacking about it? I doubt it!

Well, there's also no excuse good enough for me to be
too busy or too lazy to keep putting off my self-talk.
I need it more than I need oxygen IF I desire to create
my dreams.

And if I'm inhaling, I am looking for oxygen to inhale
rather than the air someone else exhaled in my face...
and I don't care if it's my soul mate's or my newborn
infant's carbon dioxide... I desire oxygen... so I move
my head a little bit and breathe in what I desire rather
than what someone else just breathed out into my face!

Self-talk is even easier, but I have to do it if I
desire the "oxygen" of my own desires versus the left
over, spewed-upon-me "carbon dioxide" of fear and
negativity from myself or others.

Would I walk around with my hands cupped over my mouth
and nose trying to smell my bad breath all day?

Probably not!

Then, stop allowing used up oxygen into my head in all
the other ways it sneaks in...by doing my pre-determined
self-talk over and over and over again--it will be like
wearing an oxygen mask 24-7 and I won't even have to
carry the tank!

So...we wrote it in Chapter 2..the self-talk is written.
Michael has shared his with us...start with that if you
don't have your own yet. You'll only have to say it 2
or 3 times to begin making changes in it so that it
feels more like yours.

And remember...we need it more than we need the shower
and the toothbrush...MORE THAN OXYGEN!
So, check your
self today!

Ask yourself: "How much fresh air (MY self-talk)
have I inhaled today?" Make sure it's ENOUGH because if I
have not, my dreams won't be coming true, and...

IT'S NOBODY'S FAULT BUT MY OWN.

A Review Of Success In 10 Steps

In this review of Success In 10 Steps. I will
share what I have found to be a unique
wealth of knowledge. For anyone who is
searching for ways to reach success
while avoiding many of the struggles of
failure, this is a must read.

Success In 10 Steps was written by Michael
Dlouhy of Florida a few years ago. He uses

is. First off, he has over 30 years of experience and knowledge
in his field of expertise to share. After maintaining years of
continued success to the point of being financially free he was
inspired to write this book.

You see, Michael beat all the odds. Surviving a background of
childhood abuse, he so distinctly remembers being told by his
parents he will never amount to anything. He decided not to
believe those words. Instead he would believe the kind words of

When Will You See It?

I'll believe it when I see it or I'll see it when I believe it!
Which is the true statement?

Many people today live their entire lives on the basis of
"seeing is believing." That is to say, the only images they get
emotionally involved with are the ones they can discern with
their physical senses. But the individuals of real "vision,"
down through the ages, have always known the overriding
principle is, "what you see is what you get." Haven't you heard
that exact saying from your elders growing up in your childhood
years?

Expressed somewhat differently, what this means is that the
images in people's minds, actually precede the concrete images,
which pervade our material world. Therefore, you should be aware
of the fact that the fascinating physical world we see before
us, with all of its conveniences for making our lives more
comfortable, has been built largely by image-makers - men and
women of vision who knew what they could do, and EXPECTED
everything else to "fall into place," regardless of what their
critics might say to the contrary.

If we take heed to these teachings from the experts of our
past, we can create the life of our dreams. Remember, you will
only receive what you truly expect, not what you only wish for.

So dream big and believe and expect and it shall surely be
created. You will see it when you believe it!

Are Your Goals Holding You Back?

We have all been told to make all kinds of goals. Big ones,
small, reach for the stars, attainable goals, or ambitious ones,
but is that really how success works?

To get anywhere you need to know where you're going they tell
us. What if where you're going isn't where you really want to
go? Meaning most people goals aren't their own. Most are driven
by either society or family pressures.

A great majority of goal setters tend to be people pleasers.

you end up chasing the goal instead of achieving them. By doing
this you are setting yourself up for failure.

I want to encourage more goal free living. Learn to live in the
moment, in the now, follow your own passion, knowing that you
can change course at anytime. When someone is driven by passion,
most always they are making a contribution. That alone is
fulfilling.

You may want to ask yourself this question. “Do I have the right
goals and am I relating to them in the right way?”

Life is unpredictable, so give up having to have control. Create
many paths for yourself and have fun. Success is about applying
creativity to every aspect of your life. Don't let someone else
goals hold you back from what you really want from life.

This Is Shocking!

This will shock you just

Years ago I was so naive.

I thought all companies
paid their distributors
about the same.

I didn't realize just how

Dumb question I know.

Well...

When I did some research,
I was shocked when I
discovered for example,

that for Company A, you need
10,000 people to make 10K a month,

for Company B, you need
7,000 people to make 10K,

for Company C you need
3,000 people,

and for Company D,
only 350 people are needed
for the 10K !

I would never have imagined
that there was actually that
much difference in
compensation plans.

Last week a woman asked me
to figure out how many
it would take in her
company for her to make
the 10K a month

when I told her 8,500,
she was speechless.

The moral of the story is...

know what it's going to
take you to get where
you want to go!

so you can work smarter
and not harder.

A Mental Cleanse Really Works

Wow, taking part in a mental cleanse really does
change things. Read what's happening for my friend
Larry, since he began his mental cleanse.

Chapter 9,,, PERSISTENCE

I have to begin this lesson by telling, or should I
say admitting to myself and my team that this lesson
has been an overwhelming challenge for me at times.

I have read this chapter over and over for the past
week. Highlighting the sentences and whole paragraphs
that caught my attention the first time, each time
after I highlighted what I missed the times before.

I have some points underlined and notes in the
margins. Each time I read it I found something
different that grabbed my attention and sometimes
even twisted my heart to the point I was angry
with myself for what I found while taking mental
inventory of myself and my life.

Each time I read this chapter I was ready to write
my lesson. I would get my notebook out, grab my pen
and the chapter which my notes and highlights were
in and I was stuck.

I had no idea what to put down into words, so I
took more notes from the chapter and previous notes
and wrote them in my notebook adding up to four pages
now.

Today I got out of bed early as usual. I got through
my morning routine and came to my office in a hurry
and finished with my morning to-do list in record time,
just so I could start to write my lesson and get stuck
again.

I spent a couple hours trying to reread the chapter
and go through notes in hopes it would just come to
me what I needed to say.

Finally after taking a good look at myself and saying
my hourly dose of Auto-Suggestion to clear my head
of negative thoughts, I knew exactly what to say.

You see, PERSISTENCE paid off here my friends. I
could have given up and quit trying at all nearly a week
ago. Two or three months ago that is exactly what I would
have done, but today I HAVE A BURNING DESIRE TO
OWN MY LIFE.

I want to take control of what I was taught
I never could because I wasn't good enough.

Through the process of Auto-Suggestion and studying
the rest of the principles in this book with the co-
operation of this Master Mind Group, I have been
spending my time devoting myself to building my
DESIRES.

These now BURNING DESIRES are the fuel that keeps
my PERSISTENCE barreling through all barriers,
where I would have stopped and turned back to
failure before.

It is exciting to know that I will soon reach my
Desires. As I build these desires along with my
persistence I am staying plugged in to the Master
Mind Group and studying the principles in each
chapter as we go. I am preparing my mind to
"attract" my strongest desires.

I surely hope that the realization and the unfamiliar
emotions I am experiencing have came through the words
I have put down here because this alone has been a
huge battle for me, a barrier I would have never be-
fore now been able to penetrate.

Do You Fear Failure?

Failure! What do you feel when you think about failure? Inadequate? Unworthy? Unlovable? It is so sad that you might have learned to link failure to your value as a person.

Most people who are successful in their work and their relationships have experienced many failures along their road to success. Thomas Edison, the inventor of the electric bulb, is often quoted regarding failure:

"I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work."

"I am not discouraged, because every wrong attempt discarded is another step forward."

"Many of life's failures are men who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up."

"Show me a thoroughly satisfied man, and I will show you a failure."

If Edison has been afraid of failure, or believed that failure meant he was inadequate, he would never have invented the light bulb!

In order to achieve success in any area of your life, you need to redefine failure. Instead of seeing failure as an indication of your inadequacy or lack of worth, you need to see failure as a stepping-stone to success. Some of the most financially successful people experienced repeated failures.

* Walt Disney was a high school drop out who suffered bankruptcy and repeated financial and business disasters.

* Milton Hershey, chocolate maker and founder of the famous Hershey Foods Corp., found success only after filing for bankruptcy for his first four candy companies.

* Henry Ford filed for bankruptcy for the first car company he started. He didn't succeed until he started his third company, Ford Motor Company.

* After P.T. Barnum, American showman, went bankrupt, he joined forces with circus operator James A. Bailey to found Barnum and Bailey's Greatest Show on Earth.

* Quaker Oats went bankrupt three times, as did Wrigley from Wrigley's Gum. Pepsi-Cola went bankrupt twice. Other famous companies that also went bankrupt are Birds Eye Frozen Foods, Borden's,? and Aunt Jemima.

* Albert Einstein did poorly in elementary school, and he failed his first college entrance exam at Zurich Polytechnic.

* Winston Churchill had a lifetime of defeats and setbacks before becoming prime minister of England at age 62. All of his greatest accomplishments and contributions came when he was a senior citizen.

* Sir Laurence Olivier, one of the greatest actors of the 20th century, tripped over the door sill and fell headfirst into the floodlights the very first time he had ever set foot on the professional stage!

* Woody Allen flunked motion picture production at New York University and the City College of New York and failed English at N.Y.U.

* Astronaut Ed Gibson flunked first and fourth grades.

* Lucille Ball was once dismissed from drama school for being too quiet and shy.

If these successful people had been afraid of failure, they would never have offered the world their talents. They were able to go on to success because they saw failure as a learning opportunity rather than as an indication of their inadequacy.

Are you ready to change your concept of failure? Are you ready to let go of worrying about what failure says about you and just learn from it? Are you ready to free your soul to do what you really want to do?

If the fear of failure is stopping you from doing what you really want to do, I want to encourage you to change your concept of failure. When you begin to focus on being thankful for all you have, the
sun, air, water. Everything. When you see it as a gift from God
you will be using your thoughts to dwell on abundance instead of
scarcity. As you practice being grateful, expand that list to
include family and friends, clothes, food, money, possessions of
any sort. Every little thing that has come into your life be
thankful for it.

Once you have trained yourself to be thankful for everyone and
everything that comes your way, as well as being appreciative
for being here now, you are on your way toward eliminating a
scarcity mentality.

We act upon our thoughts and those thoughts become our daily
life experiences. So it would be wise to spend energy on
abundance thoughts rather than lack. Abundance is everywhere.
The only limits are those we encourage with our belief in those
particular limits.

We can have all the freedom and abundance that we choose,
because in actuality it is a choice. Boundaries and lines
restrict freedom. These boundaries are created by man. The
Universe simply flows, space goes on without being interrupted.
There is freedom to all that are not held captive by the
restrictions invented by man. Freedom is what abundance is all
about. Abundance for us only come about when our minds are
uncluttered by imagined limits. Learning to rid ourselves of
limiting beliefs will create an abundant world for ourselves.

Christmas Meaning

What Does Christmas Mean To You?

The season is upon us when many view the day we
call Christmas as a special time to celebrate.

Weeks leading up to this day, you will find that
shoppers are busy strolling the malls for that
perfect gift for their love ones and acquaintances.

Families decorate their surroundings with the
smell of pine,cinnamon and a host of shining lights.

Even the usually grumpy people, now show a glimpse of
unusual kindness during this season. Children are especially
happy as they wait in anticipation and expectation of the
many surprises they will get to unwrap. It's even a tradition
for many to prepare a more abundant and extraordinary
meal for this day called Christmas.

But what does Christmas really mean to you?
What is the celebration really about? Is it more about an outer
celebration or an inner one?

I'm certain that each individual will have a different aspect to
the questions asked. And there are no right or wrong answers
because it all depends on where in life one is as to how they will respond.

For me, I see Christmas far different today than I did ten
