Your MLM Ice Breakers

Tom "big Al" Schreiter is one of my favorite mentors. The thing
I love about Tom's training is its generic and can be applied by
anyone in any company. He gives great practical skills, and he’s
very direct and to the point with the training.

In the training I heard recently, Tom focused on the importance
of having a great first sentence when meeting with a new prospect.
Can you picture this? "You’re in your prospects home, they’re
eagerly waiting to hear what you have to say about your business
opportunity, you open your mouth with the first words and
immediately everyone's sales alarm goes off!"

So what can you say to them to get them to relax, listen and be fully
engaged in your presentation? Tom says that your first sentence has
to do several things. One...It must get rid of the pyramid objection.
You know the pyramid objection we've all heard before...
“Isn’t network marketing a pyramid? Isn’t that illegal?”

Your first sentence also has to be intriguing enough that they are
interested in what you have to say. In other words you must grab
their attention. Nine times out of ten their mind is currently
occupied with questions, and your presentation will need to answer
it. That's why we need an ice breaker sentence.

Another thing Your first sentence must do is conquer the training
objection. What’s the training objection? The training objection
occurs when a prospect says or thinks “That’s too hard for me, I
can’t do network marketing! I’m not a sales person.”

MLM Ice breakers or your first sentence should inspire confidence into
your prospects. They need to immediately know that they can do this
business. Big Al is a master at inspiring others with his magical sentences.

So what’s the magic sentence that will engage your prospect, address
all these objections and build confidence in your clients? Tom
Schreiter
starts every presentation with this sentence "Most people
do network marketing every day, but they just don’t get paid for it.”
When he does, eight out of ten people join his business.

WHY is that? This sentence immediately taps into their subconscious
mind and they immediately think “I’m most people. I don’t need to be
trained.” “Since I already do this every day." People love to be a part
of something, so hearing "most people" makes them feel comfortable.

When you start with a great ice breaker, you’ve addressed the major
concerns of prospects and you therefore focus on the details about
your business. Business presentations will become more fun as you
master the powerful first sentence.

Tom has an array of resources that can be harnessed by network
marketers and internet marketers. Visit his website at FortuneNow.
Check out the schedule where he does his generic work shops.
You wouldn't want to miss him when he comes to your city.

We love Tom's training...Make a change today.

You've Got Money!

Or maybe not.

I guess it depends if you're a
member of Empower Network yet.

Let me show you:

That's the amount of commissions
we've paid people in the last 20 days.

(yes, almost a million dollars :)

Have you had any of that deposit into your bank account?

If not, go and and change that, now:

Empower Network

It's more than just commissions though,
it's the sheer volume of residual income
that we've created for people in almost
every network marketing company...

...yes - we're supporting everyone.

Let me actually show you how much
residual income we're paying to people.

We have two memberships - a 'basic'
$25 product, and also an 'inner circle'
$100 per month membership.
(You get 100% residual commissions
on both products, as long as you buy
them - that's $125 in residual income
per month, per person...)

100 people = $12,500 in residual income
per month....

..what are the ACTUAL numbers, though?

Well, we've been around for 3 weeks
today - and as of right now, we're
paying out:

$191,951 per month from the basic membership :)

AND

$324,500 per month from the 'inner circle'

That's a total of $516,451 per month in
residual income (yes - that's monthly)

Last week - we hit a hall-mark when
we passed a half million dollars in
commissions...

...today, we passed a half million PER
MONTH in commissions....

...and if you're not in yet

You just lost a commission.

What are you waiting for???

We want to pay YOU 100%

So even though I'll make less
money by paying YOU 100%
commissions, I'm doing something
that will change your life - and
I'm ok with that.

Because you'll finally be able to
break the barriers that have held
you back.

You'll finally be able to live the
lifestyle of your dreams.

The gurus had their day - and I've
had mine.

It's YOUR TURN now.
Don't lose another commission...

...your family deserves this.
...you need to take action -

The Five Deadly Lies of Network Marketing

Most people know that network
marketing is a fantastic
business. As good as it may be
there are also many false
assumptions about this industry as well.

Network Professional, Randy Gage, lists what he
considers to be the five basic assumptions that
seems to be creating a serious problem in NWM.
He calls them "The Five Deadly Lies of NWM"

I will offer here a brief and minimum description
of each of the five. You can find the full explanation
and description on Randy's Manifesto site.

1.Everyone can do this..

Recruiters, new distributors, even some guru's will
use this line on anyone they meet. (Everyone can do this)
They can’t. Network Marketing is perfect for everybody.
Everybody is not perfect for Network Marketing. You
need to have the mindset of an entrepreneur, not an
employee mindset.

2.The Celebrity Lead Magnet..

You will often hear where a company hires a famous
spokesperson, the spokesperson joins as a distributor,
or actually starts up their own company.

All the other distributors get excited over the massive
effect this will have on recruiting. This normally leads
to major media campaigns encouraging people to lock in a
spot early. It is expected that because of the "celebrity"
business will explode. It always end in disappointment
for many.

3.The Urban Legends...

Discredited information about a legend spreads faster
than wildfires. One that's famous is the stories you hear
about Donald Trump and his relation to network marketing.

There are story after story about different companies
people says that Trump is a part of. They are not all true!

4.The “Quick and Easy Way to Get Rich” Mentality

People are being told that they can build a lucrutive
network marketing business with doing it only five-six
hours a week. Not true!

In five hours a week you can’t get enough traction to
sustain anything serious. Yet,ten to 15 hours a week
gives you enough time to do the requirements to learn,
grow and build a business.

5. Selling Big Business Results with Small Business
Tactics..

If your main interest is to get your own products paid
for or to earn a few hundred or few thousand dollars a
month, tactics like wearing buttons, displaying bumper
stickers or flyers will work. But they won’t create
strong duplication or produce massive bonus checks.

You must learn techniques that both duplicates and
earn you the healthy checks.

There is so much credible info shared on his Manifesto
website. Randy Gage is an extraordinary mentor. Be
fore-warned that he WILL tell it like it is.

If you are a rhino, rush over to Randy's site to learn
about The 7 Most Deceptive MLM Recruiting
Practices and a host of other skills and info
that is so very key to building a magnificent
business and team in network marketing.

There Is No Perfect Company!

How long have you been in search
for the perfect company? You know
the one...it has EVERYTHING perfectly
in place. It has the best pay plan, the
right products with the right prices. It
even has the best trainers. The
company owners are family men and women.

These are the companies that attracts only
the right partners. ALL the distributors and upline get along
perfectly swell. Everything is always lovey-dovey and peaches and
cream. Are you looking for that company still? If you are...

I have got some good news and bad news. The good news is there are
a lot of good companies out there. The bad news is, you will never
find a company that is perfect and has the best of everything. Don't exist!!

I once heard a wise leader say "all companies are great, up until the
point where they add people." I must say that's a great statement.
The point is, if you have chosen network marketing as your avenue
to gain your financial freedom, you must choose one company that
you feel is the best fit for you and your needs.

Ask yourself, does this company supply the products of your interests?
Does the compensation plan satisfy you, what about the training the
company offers? How much do you know about the primary owners?,
Is the pay out period weekly or monthly? Once you establish a
satisfactory answer to each of these questions, It is then time to
make your decision to commit to the company and work steadily
at reaching your financial goals.

Anyone that jumps from company to company in search of the perfect
company soon realize that their moving from here to there is simply
a waste of precious time and lack of commitment. There is no
perfect companies.

I firmly believe all companies has some good within them. Our job as
network marketers is to choose one to commit to and do all that can
be done to make it work for us and to stop searching for a perfect company.

There is no perfect company. I can almost guarantee that when you
locate a company that has a lot of the elements you are looking for in
a company. It will also have either something missing or something
that you find dissatisfying. That's just the way it is.

People that try to work with more than one company in hopes of
finding the missing pieces are only doing themselves a huge
disservice. We hear about them all the time, you know multiple
streams of income. The problem with that is you lose focus on
what's really important. There's never enough time to allow
yourself to distribute enough focus and energy to be good at neither.

So, I would say to expend all of your time and energy on committing
to making one business successful first, then start on the other. The
bottom line is to focus and commit, to give up searching for the
perfect company. Plant good seeds where you are now.

Watch What You Say!!

One of the saddest thing imaginable is the
thought of someone's hard earned business
success being destroyed because of carelessness.

How would you like to see a headline like
this about you and your company??

"A loved company in a downward spiral" or "OPRAH WINFREY SUES MONAVIE AND 456 VITAL HEALTH SYSTEMS"

I warn people all the time, to watch what they
are saying. This is real! There are guidelines
in network marketing that must be abide by or
you will certainly reap the consequences, not
to your liking. So Beware

My heart goes out to those that are victims or
have been victims of a business faltering because
of the misuse of words. The lesson to be learned
here is to be honest, yet don't make claims. Run
your life and business with the utmost integrity.

Read the entire story, so you and your team don't
fall victims to the misuse of words. Make sure you
avoid actions such as those in the article.

Watch what you say story.

Rate Yourself on Leadership

I recently listened to a CD that gave 12
attibutes of leadership. On this CD, it
was suggested that you rate yourself
and see how well you stack up as a leader.

To take the quiz you have to be totally
honest with yourself and give the correct
answers. So I Invite you to take this quiz
by rating yourself from 1-10, with 10-being
the highest and 1 being the lowest, even
a 5 which says you are somewhere in between the two.

Ready? Find out how you rate as a leader to lead an
organization according to this Mentor of 12 Attributes of Leadership:

1. Organized to the point of Routine in your network marketing business.

2. Willing to work hard.

3. You exercise self-discipline and group discipline.

4. Never use others for your own advancement.

5. As a leader you have total knowledge, and professional
understanding of the Network Marketing Industry. Meaning:
You know how to stay self-motivated, you know how to create/or use
persuasive sales tools, your ability to communicate, know how to
establish a 90-day run, build a downline, etc.

6. Your leadership style reflects your own personality. (In other words,
you are not trying to be someone else) or copying their every move.

7. Maintain a relaxed Mental attitude.

8. Doing what's right instead of what's comfortable.

9. Never compromise your downline values or your personal integrity.

10. You are teaching others constantly.

~~Freedom ~~

In the United States of America
lies a large industrial city which
is the site of one of the world's
largest slave labor camps. Each
morning the slaves move herd
-like from their quarters into the slave labor camps.

Each one is at his or her station by 7:30 AM. Here they report to their master for the day's duties. And here they remain chained until 5:00 PM when they're
released to go home.

The slaves have no choice as to how many hours they must labor.
Sometimes they are required to work overtime until their master
tells them they may leave and go home.

Each year the slaves are told when to take their vacations, for
how long,
and when they must return.

They have little choice as to how much money they earn as they are
paid not what they are worth, but what the job is worth.

They are allowed very little time for lunch and coffee breaks during
the labor hours.

The slaves will remain in their chains in great fear because the
master can punish them with the "firing"or"layoff" whip. It is
said that even some of the older slaves who have been good
and faithful have felt the sting of the whip.

Day by day, year-by-year, the slaves toil and grow older until the master decides it is time to release them to the retirement camps where they're forced to sit idle and wait for death.

It's a well-known fact that the old slaves who try to keep working
are sometimes whipped with a "stop-their-pension" whip.

I know these slave camps exist for I once was a slave.
But now I am a free man who lives among the slaves.
The reason I am free is because I am in business for myself as
a Network Marketer.

Yes, I am truly free. I arise in the morning at the hour called for by
my schedule. I decide my own hours. I can even sleep in late while
the slaves are at work.

I can vacation when, where, I please. I'm free to take my coffee break
and lunch when I want, and of course, I can decide my own paycheck
because I am not a slave.

I can choose to work when and where I please and with whom I please.
I'm free to stay in the city for as long as I want, or to move on to
greener pastures if I decide to.

I've seen many slaves sadly pack their belongings to leave their city
in search of a new master, but it is always the same.

There is, however, a ray of hope for the slave. He or she can buy
their own freedom. The cost is not high. Only to those without COURAGE to pay the price.

ONE MUST BE WILLING TO BE HIS OWN MASTER!

The Beauty of Network Marketing

There are two types of income
in the world, but unfortunately
only one will give you freedom.
Only one will allow you own your life completely.

The first type of income is Linear Income.
This is where you are just trading your time for money.

If you are like most people you HAVE to work to
make a living. If you don't work, you don't get paid.

That's a linear income.

The second type of income is a lot different. It is
sometimes called Royalty income, or Recurring
income. Some refer to it also as Passive income or
Residual income. Whatever name your refer to it
as being, It's the secret to creating true wealth.

This Royalty income, is when you do the work
right one time and get paid for it over, and over,
and over again. Such as that of singers that create
hit music. They made a hit recording and it is sold,
and listened to for years. When that happens they
receive a monthly check for years from their efforts
of producing a one time hit.

This is the beauty of network marketing, it will
allow you to receive a monthly pay of thousands of
dollars so you can do the things in life you want, so
you can achieve your dreams.

Learn how to look for a 5 Pillars company in network
marketing so you will choose the right company that will
help you to own your life.

2 Seductive Little Words

Everybody knows that time is our most valuable asset.
Still we live in a world where most people constantly
want instant gratification. We expect all things to
happen "Right Now!"

Our expectations of reaching our dreams are right now.
We expect right now results from weight loss and exercise
programs.

Life still has a natural progression. As, of the days of
old, we must still plant, cultivate and then reap the harvest.

Patience is a virtue. If you want to save yourself much
frustration as you are building your network marketing
business, you must practice patience.

Quit looking for things to happen at the speed of light.
John Burroughs poem, Waiting says it this way.

Serene, I fold my hands and wait,
Nor care for wind, nor tide, nor sea;

I have no more 'gainst time or fate,

For lo! my own shall come to me.

A Life of No Regrets

Life is like a combination lock; your job is to
find the right numbers, in the right order,
so you can have everything you want.
~Brian Tracy

Brian just gave the recipe to living a life
without regrets. What do you want your
life to look like, now and in the future? Will you be like the
poem below or will you live a life of "no regrets"?

When a man is on his deathbed, he does not say to himself, “I wish
I would have spent more time at the office” or “I wish I would
have spent more time working.”

What a man on his deathbed says to himself is this: “I wish I
would have spent more time with the people I love: my wife, my
children, and my friends. I wish I would have spent more time
living instead of working.”

You can make the latter wish a reality. That's the beauty of
network marketing and working from home. Find the right training,
the right mentors, the right 5 pillars company. Enjoy making your
dreams your reality, live a life of no regrets!

Target Right People-For Right Success

If you are in Network marketing it is
important that you not set your
target on people who don't know
anything about MLM. If you do, you'll
spend your entire time trying to build
a dream for them. You will be trying to
convince them,to believe the way you
believe. Trying to change someone doesn't work.

That would be kind of like asking a
zebra to change his stripes. Good luck! Why try to change
someone. Look for the ones that already have an interest
in what you offer and talk to those people.

Otherwise, you'll spend all your time trying to motivate somebody.
Trying to get them to have a dream ... rather than building your
business. When you work with people who don't already
understand MLM, there's a good chance they'll head down the
road the wrong way. Often times they've heard bad things about
it and that's where their focus will be.

So, now you've spent ALL your time working at changing that person's
mind, what a waste of time! You need to only target people who
already has the dream. It will make your life will a lot easier.

To Your Success,

From Failure To Success

He Knew He Was Onto Something Big!
Don Standard Success Story

Texas - I started network marketing around 1980. It looked too easy to be true. I was right. It took 25 years to learn the truth about how to do it.

Making a list of friends and family didn't sound like a good idea. But I did it. I signed up one family member who quit. No friends - ever. I started talking to strangers. I hated it, but I sponsored one every 4 to 6 weeks. But I never had two people on my team at the same time in three years. The last one always quit before the next one signed up.

I went to seminars, joined different companies. I learned from each failure, but never seemed any closer to success. Then the internet appeared. MLMers from wall to wall, looking for prospects. Most potential prospects had multiple businesses - and multiple failures.

I learned to get prospects. But converting them to team members was nearly impossible.

I went into a learning and testing phase. I sponsored large numbers of people into free programs. Of course, that never made me any money. But it was a start.

Then I found the ebook, "Success In 10 Steps". I had hundreds of unread downloaded documents, but this one interested me. I printed it out and started reading. Next day, I took it to work, finished it. Every idea seemed to be opposite what I had been told. I could look at some of my previous companies and see why I had so much trouble. I read the ebook 3 times in 3 days.

Email messages got me on free training calls. I never missed a single call for months. I never said a word ... just listened.

I knew I was onto something big. From my experience, I knew the people at Mentoring For Free were telling the truth about MLM. That was good, after 25 years of failure and frustration. I used the information from the calls to evaluate network marketing companies. I googled people using the Mentoring For Free system. I found companies they may have been in and/or previous companies. I added all the other companies I knew and started evaluating.

I quickly learned to find "deal killers". Some things are so bad they can't be overcome by good things. I narrowed hundreds of companies down to five - which I compared every day for over a week. In the end, one company came up on top every time. It was so superior that there really was not a second to consider. I hope you also find a company so clearly ahead of all others that you can make the choice and never have a second thought.

Still ... could I be successful at network marketing? I joined the company. I plugged into the MentoringForFree system and got some leads. Mostly I just watched and listened ... for 11 more months. Finally, I was ready to go for it. And it worked. I grew my business fast. I sponsored as many people in a month or so as I used to sponsor in a year.

And they didn't quit. I plugged them into MentoringForFree and helped get them started. We were a team, all using the system. People just like me who had experienced failure and frustration for years were now successful.

The Mentoring For Free system changed my life and the lives of people on my team. Now I grow my business easily and consistently. Network Marketing is fun. Just the way it really should be. Click Here To Get The Same Ebook!

What's Bad Business In MLM

We can agree that network marketing is
a mentoring, learning, and a relationship
building business to reach higher levels of success.

This is why, Whatever you do in network
marketing must be duplicatable for the
masses. Six to seven percent retention is not smart business.

Results like this make it obvious why we
coach people to first find a "5-Pillar"
company, and make sure you build relationships
with prospects.

It is bad business to recruit someone into an unstable company.
It is bad business to recruit someone before you have built a relationship with them.

When you recruit a person who is your friend into a "5 Pillar"
company, the two of you have a commitment to each other
and a strong chance for success.

When you try a business relationship without that personal, mutual
commitment, or with an unstable company, then your chances of
failure skyrocket.

It is the truth and it is bad business in mlm.

You can sharpen your network marketing skills all week by dialing
in to our generic mentoring sessions. We want to save you from
unnecessary failure and frustration.

I Appreciate You,

Rena Williams

Paralyzed By Fear?

Are you one who is paralyzed by fear or
empowered by hope?

Let's face it, there are many symptoms
of fear. There's the fear of loss, fear of
pain, fear of death, fear of failure,
even fear of success. The most
common fear of all that grips people
the hardest is the fear of criticism.

People will refuse to take chances in
business or act on any endeavor because they are afraid to
be criticized. They feel that failure will come about as a result
of the criticism, and usually it does.

Most people are insanely fearful. Can you imagine going through
your life being miserable and unhappy because of a mistake or
poor choice in marriage? The very act of choosing not to make
corrections because of the criticism that may come from the
efforts of correcting the mistake? It happens everyday.

The majority of society allow relatives, friends, and others to
influence their lives and any decision, so they cannot live their
own lives for fear of criticism.

One thing I know is criticism is highly over rated. Napoleon Hill
says it's the one thing that everyone has too much of. He went on
to say even a thief will criticize the very person he's stealing
from. Fear of criticism has been a long standing problem for many.
So much so that Napoleon Hill dedicated a whole section on it in
his classic book "Think and Grow Rich".

So, how do we wean ourselves from the grips of being afraid of this
fear? By learning to develop courage through hope. The Bible tells us
continuously to "Fear Not". We start by trusting and developing hope
in a power much greater than ourselves.

At Mentoring For Free we teach that network marketing is a
relationship building business. Well, so is life. The first and
foremost relationship needful is one with ourselves and our Source.

Learn to be empowered by hope. This and so much more can be
accomplished by being a part of our master mind group of like
minded people. By doing so you will discover hope for a better future
with no more fear.

To your success,

Rena Williams

The Three Stages of Truth

Within every truth, you will find there are three stages.
Let's look at it from the network marketers aspect.

As a mentor and entrepreneur, I've experienced these stages
of truth and I know you have as well. I'm talking about the
days of being ridiculed, violently opposed and finally self- evidence.

Ridicule
When each of us first stepped out to start our own business
or undertake anything that was new or different from the masses,
we were ridiculed harshly. Whether it was by our friends, or
family members, maybe both, it was harsh.

Those people labeled you as crazy for wanting to make a better
life for yourself. They told you not to expect much, and don't
dream big and don't get your hopes up. That was being ridiculed.

Violently Opposed
As you didn't listen to the criticism and you continued to work
on reaching your dreams, you encountered much opposition.
You even began to question yourself about "is this really for me?",
"am I doing the right thing?".

Everything that can go wrong does, in order to detour you. Finally,
you start to see some results and pay off, but not nearly what you
hoped for. At this point you hold on to your dream and trust in
yourself and your ability to perform.

You went against the grain and worked hard on yourself. When you
plan, do, review and adjust your activities, things will come
together for you everytime. Inspite of all who violently opposed
you.

Self Evidence
Final stage, you are seeing even greater results from your diligent
efforts. Things are flowing for you and people are starting to see
evidence of your success. The congratulations and accolades are
coming in because you made it through.

All of a sudden, the dream crashers are sugar coating their words,
saying "I knew YOU would make it!", or "I believed in you all along".
You are now part of the five percentage because you had staying power.

These stages could be compared to learning how to ride a bike.
At first, you will crash a few times, even lose momentum, but you
get right back up and try it again until you are riding confidently
in the breeze.

Remember, whenever you step out to pursue your dreams, there will
always be those who criticize what you do. Reason being, they are
looking through different lenses. It's the way they view the world.

So, go against the grain and make your dreams happen. Forget about
the naysayers. "heart has its reason, the mind knows nothing about."

How To Choose A Coach/Mentor

There are so many opportunities in life to get sidetracked.
Having a coach will help keep you accountable and focused.

The smartest thing you could ever do is get yourself a coach/mentor.
All the big stars have a coach, some have several mentors. Each
one teach their own specialty. How do you choose the right coach?

If you were married and were seeking marriage counseling,
would you talk to someone who's never been married? I don't think so!
So would it make more sense to get coaching from somebody who has
experienced what you are seeking, or somebody who hasn't?

Many of the coaches today in network marketing have never built an
organization. Or they built it 5, 10, 15 years ago, but they can't
build it today. So these network marketing coaches go out and teach
people how to do what they can't do. What they did 10 years ago
worked 10 years ago. But it doesn't work today.

So instead of being on the cutting edge of technology and learning
and USING the state-of-the-art in network marketing business-
building, they hold themselves up as a coach!

If you're going to be coached, you want to be coached by somebody
who is currently doing it NOW, someone who is active today.

It's crazy, but there are even "coaches" who promote it as a virtue
that they no longer do network marketing. They'll tell you this lets
them be objective. They'll tell you that you don't need to worry
about them recruiting you into some other business.

Here is the truth: there's a lot more money in network marketing than
there is in coaching - IF you can actually do network marketing, then
you can do the coaching anyway, while you're building your business.

So why isn't this person in network marketing anymore?
Easy. It's because they can't do it. Plain and simple, they can't build it.

It is completely insane to choose as your coach someone who is not
currently successful at network marketing. You are being ripped-off,
plain and simple.

Here's another thing, 90% of these coaches tell you that YOU have to
change. They say you have to get out of your comfort zone, become
this "A" type personality. And THAT is the reason it doesn't work.

Most top business people have or once had a true mentor, someone
who's done it before and knows what to do. The person with a mentor
has a big advantage. I would be honored to be YOUR mentor, no
matter what company you are in.

As your coach, I will believe in YOU until you can believe in yourself!

It Worked, Simply Worked

You Gotta Believe! Like Sarah Thompson

Florida - I was the oldest daughter of 12
children. I worked a lot from the time I
was very young. But everything I made
went to support the family. Since I was
a little girl, I always wanted to be free.

Later, While raising four children of my own, I signed up with the latest, greatest, can't-fail home-based business. I had house parties and called on family members, with no results. I switched companies and tried calling Aunts, sisters and cousins to buy my weight-loss products. No success.

I got divorced. After night school, I got a lucrative corporate position in the late 1980's. But it turned out not to be the dream I wanted.

Back to Network Marketing. I studied, analyzed and joined countless programs. I was told

  1. Buy leads.
  2. Make a list of friends and family.
  3. To be successful, I'd have to get 100 "no"s in order to get one "yes".
  4. Make more calls.

After 14 failed attempts, spending thousands of dollars for guru "secrets", I was pretty discouraged.

In late 2007, I ran into "Success in 10 Steps" by Michael Dlouhy. I looked at the table of contents and thought, "Huh? Where is step 1, step 2, and all the other steps?" The chapters had titles like ëYour warm market has ice in their veins," and "Give your prospects a puppy".

Oh, right, Michael. This is REALLY going to help. NOT!

A few days later, the phone rang. Michael Dlouhy himself is calling me?? Must be someone using his name. Must be a sales call. Somehow he must know I have a few dollars left on my credit card.

We talked for a few minutes. He invited me to listen in on a free training call. Weird. He never tried to close me.

He called again, a few times. I was suspicious. But still no closing. At least it didn't cost anything. And somehow he began to make sense.

He called again and tells me he knows I am quiet, need data and then more data, that I'm slow to decide, well organized, and do not like calling leads. What is this guy, a mind reader? He says, "Sarah, you're perfect to do this business just the way you are." Now he has me. But I refuse to let him know.

Next call, I break. I tell him about my 14 failed attempts, my lead buying, my collection of no's, and how all 14 uplines told me I was not working hard enough.

Michael patiently explains how to evaluate an MLM company. Bam, wow I get it! My failure in MLM really was not my fault. So I ask, "How much to continue, Michael?" I mentally brace myself for his reply. "No payments. But you have to follow our training program."

After the call, I get an e-mail with four audio links, and no place credit card numbers. I listened to the audios several times. I have a notebook full of notes. On the next call, I asked questions. Hmm. Sounds like the real deal. I start to attend the training sessions. I get addicted.

Michael calls again. Now, it's like we're old friends. He says " Sarah, Linda and I will believe in You until You believe in Yourself" The most powerful words he could have said. How did he know I did not believe in myself?"

That is exactly what Michael and Linda did - they loaned me their belief until I found my own. It worked, simply worked, because it is simple and true.
