Know Your Destination

Do you ever ask yourself this
question,
"Isn't
there more to life than this?"
We all have certain dreams and goals that we want to
reach in life don't we? Of course we do. Well, the
key to reaching our dreams and achieving our goals is
to take the same approach as we would when we are trying
to reach a certain travel destination and are unsure
of how to get there.

What do we usually do when trying to get to a certain
destination with no real knowledge of how to do so?

We grab a map and begin to study it to figure out what roads,
avenues, routes, highways, directions, we'll need to
travel on to graciously reach our destination.

What exactly is a map for when you really think about it? It's
a blueprint with true information on it that you'll use as a
reference to get from where you are to where you need to be.
A map doesn't necessarily tell you how to get to your destination;
but it provides you with factual information about locations
in that area.

Once you look at the information on the map, you can find
your starting point. And once you have that, you can figure
out what your next step is. Each step afterwards leads into
and is dependent on the next step to until you reach your
final destination.

Why do you trust the information on the map? Why is it that
you don't question if what you're looking at is factual? Think
about it, you just accept what you see and follow it - Right?

Right! to go where you wanna go you need the vehicle and
the instructions on how to use the vehicle.

Well my friends, the same holds true on the road of life. If you
want to achieve a certain goal or reach a certain destination,
you must first have a map in the form of plan that consists
of steps that are dependent on each other. And most importantly,
you must trust the system one hundred percent with zero doubt
and full trust and faith that it will work.

When you are able to do so, to (Trust in the process) you will be
able to effectively manifest the things you want out of life and
achieve your goals.

I've got good news. You don't have to sit around trying to
create a map when you need to reach a certain destination, nor

Abundant Life Means More Than Money

If you were to ask a group of
people. what does being rich
mean to them, most would
say "having lots of money."
Money alone is the focus
point of the majority when
speaking about riches. Yet,
money is only a portion of
the attributions that makes
up an abundant life of riches.

Og Mandino asks a heart wrenching question in his classic
book, "The Greatest Salesman in the World." The question
he proposed is "what dying man can purchase another
breath, though he'll be more than willing to give up all his
gold?" (Money)

That statement alone proves that having abundant life is so much
more than money. So, I will share with you, that when all are in
place, qualifies one to be labeled as having an abundance of life.
First is ...

Peace of Mind...Having peace of mind is having freedom from all
negative emotions, such as fear, anger, resentment, guilt, jealousy and hatred.

The Right Mental Attitude...You've heard it said many times,
"attitude is everything." The mind is the beginning of all riches.
Our state of mind is always in our own control. The right mental attitude is key.

Health...Good health is priceless! Our state of health affects the
mind as much as the body. A sound mind and sound body cannot
be separated. Without good health and energy, you got nothing.

Loving Relationship...Love is the essence and nature of life. It was
love which created the Universe. Our quality of life can be measured
by how many loving relationships we have entered into.

Financial Goals...Finally financial goals, which are not attained by
possessions alone, but also by the service we render.

Riches doesn't end with financial freedom. There are still a few more
qualities that helps to complete the balance. They are having
worthy goals and ideas
, the last is having a sense of fulfillment.

The greatest form of happiness comes from a hope of achievement.
People who have found their true self and talent, are the ones who
achieve their own high success. All of these attributes perfectly
balanced creates an abundant life of riches.

To your abundance!

Successful People Are Big Dreamers

Your dreams are your visions of where you'll be after the battle.
They are your prize at the end of your journey to success.
Your goals are the steps you take to finally attain your prize.

Unless you're willing to work hard and establish some discipline in
your life, all of your dreams will be pipe dreams, little mental
fantasy trips that will never materialize.

Make concrete steps toward fulfilling your ultimate dream,
and start with solid objectives called goals. Your dreams
are where you want to go, your goals are how you get there.

The first indispensable step to getting the things you want
out of life is this. Decide what you want.

Don't be afraid to think big and dare to be great. Dreamers
are not content with mediocrity. They never dream of going half way.

People with goals succeed because they know where they're going.

Living A Balanced Life

10 Suggestions On Living A Balanced Life

Here is a list of ten simple thoughts to put into place in
order to help to create wholeness in your lives.

1. Give your dreams room to grow.
Treat them in the same manner you would a garden.

2. Get outside and walk. The vitamin from the sunshine
counteracts a dark mood.

3. Always invite, never force a physical challenge;
The right moves are more healthier.

4. Sometimes it requires you to set the bar a little higher
to see the real results.

5. Learn to tap into your motivation.
You already posess it.

6. Change seldom happens suddenly.
It starts small and gains momentum.

7. Let your passion override all fear;
Stop over thinking.

8. Find your flow within the stress rather than
trying to eliminate it.

9. Indulgence isn't a sign of failure; look at it as an
occasional opportunity to experience pure pleasure.

10. Consider your goals as a first step toward the life you really want.

Common Critical Mistakes of Entrepreneurs

When you first made a decision to start your own business,
or be your own boss did you think it was going to be a bed
of roses?

I'd like to congratulate you for taking a leap of faith by
taking the first step to acquiring your dreams. You are
already ahead of most people by merely making a decision.

Now that you are on the right track to creating a better life
for yourself, I encourage you to not make the critical mistakes
of most entrepreneurs.

It happens quite frequently; an excited entrepreneur starts a
business and immediately look for short cuts that will get
him on the fast track to success. Meanwhile, overlooking these
important steps:

1. No Plan or Business Model-Anytime you want to get from
where you are to where you want to be, there must be some
sort of plan. You need to know the answers to questions
such as: What's my best marketing method?, What steps will
I take? How do I plan to make my money?, and how will I follow up?

2. Not Investing in Yourself-Investing in your growth, knowledge
and skills is the single most important area of your business.
It gives you an incredible outcome if you invest time in training
to learn how to build your business. Get excited and attend the
seminars, conventions and workshops. Purchase the audios and tools.
Look at it as funding your dream.

3. Expecting To Do No Work-Many entrepreneurs expect the journey
to success to be smoothe sailing. They expect somehow to become
an overnight success without putting in the necessary work or hours.

Be realistic by knowing that you must put forth the effort. I'm not
saying to burn yourself out or suffer in a big way but do put forth
a good honest effort to take the necessary actions to reach your
goals. Visualization is nothing without taking the action steps to go with it.

These are a few of the most common mistakes made by up and rising
entrepreneurs all the time. There are no short cuts to success. Every
destination requires directions to get there. Remember, the external
always matches the internal beliefs. To ensure you will end up at your
chosen destination take the time, and the right steps to arrive
prosperous, happy and secure.

Believe In Your Goals

There is a good chance at some point in your
life you've sat down and set some goals. You
got excited, maybe created a plan, and started taking action.

Then, the next thing you know, your
motivation is gone and you find yourself
struggling every step of the way. To make matters worse you haven't
got a clue as to why this is happening.

You are not alone in experiencing this, it happens
to most people. Goals seem to have that somewhat
meaningless "must get there fast" mentality to them.

Sometimes setting goals can get you so hyped up
for that future moment of achievement, that you
completely lose all touch with the now.

I'm sure you know for yourself that it becomes
very frustrating when goals begin to feel more like
chores. And sometimes goal setting can be down right
scary. You know you set the goal and feel like you are
"locked in" and you can't give up, because then you
would be labeled a "quitter"!

The truth of the matter is you gotta have belief.
Belief in yourself and your goals. No matter how
how much you try to push, fight, or force yourself
to succeed, your beliefs will keep you right where
you have always been.

The key is knowing how to change your beliefs
to support the dreams you want to achieve.
When you have the right beliefs that support
your dreams, your daily habits naturally fall
into place, and you start heading in the right
direction of your dreams automatically.

That's because dreams are powered by beliefs
that reside in your subconscious mind. Once
you have a strong belief in your dreams, yourself,
then goal setting becomes less frustrating.

Ways To Become A Better Person

It is now a brand new year. It's a time to
reflect on what prevented you from
achieving those goals set for last year
and start making your fresh list for this year.

As you study that path, let me offer a few
suggestions that will indeed help you to become a better
person in this year of 2010.

We've all been guilty at some point or another of living
our life merely for self gratification. As I have learned
that's not a smart purpose in life. Through lots of personal
development, I'm learning that the giving part in life is
by far more rewarding that the getting.

There is much truth to the saying "its better to give than
receive" and "the more you give the more you receive".

So in 2010 if we put more focus at being less selfish, we
will become a better person. Let us strive to...

* pay less attention to ourself and more attention to others

* focus on opportunities, not problems

* listen first, then talk later

* criticize only when criticism is helpful

* never speak badly about anyone

* never complain about anything

* perform an act of kindness each day

By doing this you will find that it will have a profound effect
on your happiness, peace of mind and your daily successes. You
will find that the more you do for others, the more seems to get
done for you. Being selflessness really does create a better you.

Attracting or Chasing Success

In a previous article we talked a bit about the difference
between want and need. Just like there's a difference in
the two, so is it with a burning desire and a desire that
burns you.

There is definitely a balancing act between the two desires.
When you have a burning desire you are creating the right
mindset that is going to attract to you the thing you want.

However, if that desire is connected to feelings of "I'm
miserable unless I have this thing" then your desire is now
burning you.

Just like the senario of the more there's a need to be liked
by others, the less others like you. The same goes for success.
Anytime you chase success, that success will always run faster
than you will.

Your objective should be to attract success, not chase it. When
you chase success you are repelling it and you never get what
you are chasing. The attraction and repulsion forces are always
at work. Sometimes you will attract more than you repel and vice
versa. It simply depends on which force is the strongest at any
given time.

Like any other skill, you can learn to attract more than you repel.
When you change the way you are feeling, the mental picture of the
situation changes.

The key is to go through your day without resistance, as much as
possible. Next, keep your burning desire in mind, which is your
goal.

It's important that you don't expect your goal to give you happiness.
Don't let your desire for the goal burn you by feeling bad because you
don't yet have it. It is critical to be able to walk away from it
emotionally, even when you want the goal.

If you can happy even when you don't have in your possession the
thing you want, then you are attracting it to you. If you are unhappy
because you don't have in your possession the thing you NEED, then
you are repelling it.

These are the difference between attracting and chasing success.

To Your Success,

4 Step Process to Dealing with Change

The world is forever changing and change is a true measure of how
well developed we are as a person in different areas of life. How
well are you dealing with change? Here's a four step guide to help
keep you on track.

1. Accept that change is reality: Get clear with yourself by asking,
"What specifically am I worried about because of this change?"

2. Determine the worse case: Ask yourself, what is the worse thing
that can happen as a result of this change? Then decide whether you
will accept it.

3. Minimize the maximum: Ask the question, what are all the things I
can do to make sure that the worst doesn't happen?

4. Take Action: Take action to maximize your current situation. Ask
yourself, how can this change be a healthy and positive step toward
reaching my dreams and goals?

Most times when you look at change, you will find that it'll be
something good and beneficial for you. Change is a signal to you,
so how will you respond?

All the best,

Importance Of Goal Setting

When you want to reach any level of success in
your life, it is critical that you set goals and make
plans. When you set the goal and make the plan
to do that certain thing, It gives you a clear
vision. A clear vision means you know exactly
what it is that you want to accomplish.

Tell me, would you plan a wedding without all the fine details?
What about take an exotic vacation without first making plans
and setting some goals? Coaches don't just send their players out
onto the play field without first establishing a plan. So why is it
that we go through life sometimes and not have a clear vision as
to what we want out of it?

Busy verses Productive

Each day as we work our home business from
home, there are many decisions to be made.
Sometimes we mistake doing busy work for
productive work. Your busyness will be
determined by your life goals.

I'm well aware that household chores need to
get done, kids need attention, the family is
hungry, advertising is a must, etc. So, how
do we handle all these things and more while
keeping our sanity?

The answer is balance. The old plan, do, review applied to our daily
lives can work wonders. When we plan our day in advance it creates
order and balance in both our personal life and business.

A very wise mentor shared with me a great plan to creating a
balanced life should consist of putting God first, family
second, and business third. So every night write out what
your tomorrow will be like using those guidelines.

If you think that checking email five times a day or more is
productivity, you might want to do some more reviewing. Start
scheduling specific times to read emails. Checking emails
is considered busy work not productive work.

Here's a tip to determine if what you're doing is productive or
just plain old busy.

Tip: Always ask yourself this question when in doubt.”Is this
that I'm doing moving me measurably closer to my goals?

The Most Common Traits of Success

There is a process to being a person of a
success personality just as there's a process
for failure. Have you ever heard the saying
success breeds success? That means certain
steps must be taken before any desirable goal
can be attain in becoming a person that
exhibits a success personality.

The first trait is having a sense of direction. One must be a goal
setter. In other words you must know exactly what it is you want
and know where you are going. The goal should be something
worthwhile with a strong purpose in order to reach the goal.

Next, is understanding. A significant line of communication is
critical for the understanding of anything. Always be willing to see
the truth by weighing the facts verses the opinions.

Once the goal is set and you have a clear understanding of
situations, for then you must have courage enough to take action.
Acting is the only way to getting you closer to making your goals and
desires a reality.

Charity is another trait that successful personalities possess. They
have interest and regard for other people. Success is having dignity
to respect others and treat them as real human beings instead of a
number.

One must have enough belief in himself before he can master this
next trait. A belief that anything is possible for himself before he
can have esteem for another. Esteem is loving oneself, and seeing
yourself as a worthy and undefeated person.

All confidence is built upon experiences of small successes. If one will
make it a habit to remembering past successes instead of past
failures, this is when strong self-confidence is developed.

Finally, there has to be self-acceptance. You must know that you are
NOT your mistakes. There can't be genuine happiness until a person
have some measure of self-acceptance.

When each of these seven traits are in operation, a person has
learned to accept themselves, which allows them to BE themselves.
This is when a powerful success type personality is created.
