Make it a habit to watch funny videos when you feel under the
weather, angry, or depressed. Last year, researchers at Loma
Linda University published a study on the results of laughter on the immune system.

They asked volunteers to watch a video of the comedian Gallagher
smashing produce with a sledge hammer.

The researchers noticed that the volunteers showed significant
improvements in several immune-system functions, such as natural
killer cell activity.

In another study, the same researchers found that merely anticipating
watching a funny video improved moods such as anger, tension, and
depression up to 2 days before actually watching the video. It really
is true when they say "laughter is the best medicine."

My advice:
The next time you go to the video store,
check out the comedy section.

Look through your TV guide for funny
shows, and set your VCR to record them.

Tom "big Al" Schreiter is one of my favorite mentors. The thing
I love about Tom's training is its generic and can be applied by

to do several things. One...It must get rid of the pyramid objection.
You know the pyramid objection we've all heard before...
“Isn’t network marketing a pyramid? Isn’t that illegal?”

Your first sentence also has to be intriguing enough that they are
interested in what you have to say. In other words you must grab
their attention. Nine times out of ten their mind is currently
occupied with questions, and your presentation will need to answer
it. That's why we need an ice breaker sentence.

Another thing Your first sentence must do is conquer the training
objection. What’s the training objection? The training objection
occurs when a prospect says or thinks “That’s too hard for me, I
can’t do network marketing! I’m not a sales person.”

MLM Ice breakers or your first sentence should inspire confidence into
your prospects. They need to immediately know that they can do this
business. Big Al is a master at inspiring others with his magical sentences.

So what’s the magic sentence that will engage your prospect, address
all these objections and build confidence in your clients? Tom
Schreiter starts every presentation with this sentence "Most people
do network marketing every day, but they just don’t get paid for it.”
When he does, eight out of ten people join his business.

WHY is that? This sentence immediately taps into their subconscious
mind and they immediately think “I’m most people. I don’t need to be
trained.” “Since I already do this every day." People love to be a part
of something, so hearing "most people" makes them feel comfortable.

concerns of prospects and you therefore focus on the details about

Know Your Destination

Do you ever ask yourself this
question, "Isn't
there more to life than this?"
We all have certain dreams and goals that we want to
reach in life don't we? Of course we do. Well, the
key to reaching our dreams and achieving our goals is
to take the same approach as we would when we are trying
to reach a certain travel destination and are unsure
of how to get there.

What do we usually do when trying to get to a certain
destination with no real knowledge of how to do so?
We grab a map and begin to study it to figure out what roads,
avenues, routes, highways, directions, we'll need to
travel on to graciously reach our destination.

What exactly is a map for when you really think about it? It's
a blueprint with true information on it that you'll use as a
reference to get from where you are to where you need to be.
A map doesn't necessarily tell you how to get to your destination;
but it provides you with factual information about locations
in that area.

Once you look at the information on the map, you can find
your starting point. And once you have that, you can figure
out what your next step is. Each step afterwards leads into
and is dependent on the next step to until you reach your
final destination.

Why do you trust the information on the map? Why is it that
you don't question if what you're looking at is factual? Think
about it, you just accept what you see and follow it - Right?

Right! to go where you wanna go you need the vehicle and
the instructions on how to use the vehicle.
Well my friends, the same holds true on the road of life. If you
want to achieve a certain goal or reach a certain destination,
you must first have a map in the form of plan that consists
of steps that are dependent on each other. And most importantly,
you must trust the system one hundred percent with zero doubt
and full trust and faith that it will work.

When you are able to do so, to (Trust in the process) you will be
able to effectively manifest the things you want out of life and
achieve your goals.

A Lesson On Not Giving Up

"Never give up!" are those famous words
quoted by many encouraging mentors.
"It's always to soon to quit!" they
say. Keep on trying.

Ironically, those were the same words that
entered my mind as I struggled to get my
portable CD player to start playing again.

You see, recently I moved and unfortunately some things
still remain packed away in boxes. As I had the urge to
listen to a motivational CD while I was working in a
particular area of the house, I began searching for my
portable CD player. For this was the only way I could
hear the message while in that room.

Well, I unraveled different boxes in hope of locating it,
yet I kept coming up empty handed. Finally, after about a
good thirty minutes of looking I found it!

So eagered to hear the message, I knew the batteries must
be replaced. Got that done, put on my headset, then popped
in the disc, pushed play and all I got was a loud clicking
sound.

Needless to say frustration began to set in. My mind was
baffled because it played just perfect before the move.
I began to adjust this, that and the other. Still the
only sound was click, clack, click, click.

Feeling defeated, my mind said "well it's time to throw it
out and purchase a new one." Just hearing that, out of sheer
frustrating I forcefully wiggled this and jiggled that and
what do you know? the darn thing started to play just fine.

I burst out in laughter as I was reminded of those encouraging
words by those mentors. "never give up!, it's always to soon
to quit."

Let my little episode serve as a reminder to you whenever you
find yourself in those frustrating moments in life or business.
Don't give up and never quit because eventually things will
change.

Tranquility

Tranquillity, now that's a word we don't hear often enough.
What does it actually mean? To me it simply means peace of
mind, a quietness within me.

The best description of tranquillity I've ever heard
was from a book given to me as a gift titled "The Power
of Positive Thinking" by Norman Vincent Peale.

He spoke graciously about peace and went on to paint a
vivid word picture of one of his days in tranquility.
Here's the scene as he describes it from his hotel balcony
in Honolulu Hawaii.

"I'm looking into a garden filled with graceful palm trees,
swaying in the balmy breeze. The air is laden with the aroma
of exotic flowers. Hibiscus, of which on these islands there
are two thousand varieties, fill the garden. Outside my windows
are papaya trees laden with ripening fruit. The brilliant color
of the royal poinciana, the flame of the forest trees, adds to
the glamor of the scene and the acacia trees are hung heavily
with their exquisite white flowers.

The incredible blue ocean surrounding the islands stretches
away to the horizon. The white waves are surging in and
Hawaiians and fellow visitors are riding gracefully on surfboards
and outrigger canoes.

Altogether it is a scene of entrancing beauty. It has an
indescribably healing effect upon me as I sit here writing
about the power generated in a peaceful mind."

Wow! what a beautiful word picture. I've found myself
remembering this same scene whenever I relax and take
the time to quiet my mind.

The Universe offers up so many lovely creations that makes
it easy to reach a serene state of mind. Beauty is all around
us.

I encourage you to take time each day to appreciate the beauty
of nature, our gifts from the Universe. Relax your mind, which
will ultimately rejuevenate your body. Be in a state of tranquillity.

Not much convincing will happen if we do not create instant and
immediate rapport within the first 10 seconds of our presentation.

Think about it.

If your prospect doesn't feel connected to you, doesn't believe you,
and doesn't trust you ... even the best Power Point presentation in
the world will be useless.

Our job is to create instant and immediate rapport with our prospects
so they will believe the good things we tell them.

Our new distributors realize this. Why? Because they have
experienced the pain of rejection from those times they didn't build
instant and immediate rapport.

We should teach our new distributors the skills to do the job. If we don't, they will get frustrated, rejected and will quit.

Let's start now. Pretend your new distributor came to you and said:

"I know I need to build instant and immediate rapport in the first 10
seconds of my presentation. Please write down on a piece of paper
exactly word-for-word what I should say."

So do it now. Write down the sequence of words you want your new
distributor to say to build instant and immediate rapport in the first
