~Commonalities of Non-Achievers

Over the years my mentor did an observation of
people who had not achieved what they want in
life, and he came up with an interesting discovery.

He came to realize that each of them possessed some
of the same strange practices. These strange practices
seem to be a mental "to do" list for sure failure.

Here's how a non achiever's list reads:

1. Don't listen to successful people.

2. Get your advice from those you know and anyone
who doesn't have a dream.

3. Plan, plan, plan. Get ready to get ready, make sure
everything is perfect before you actually do something.

4. Blame everyone else for your failure to have what
you want.

5. Remind yourself daily, what a loser you are.

6. Repeat your same mistakes over and over.

7. Keep going in the same wrong direction to get
what you want.

8. Don't replace your limiting, negative thoughts
with positive ones.

9. Keep spending all your time with unsuccessful people.

10. Insist that you are always right; being wrong is
worst than failing.

As ridiculous as this list may seem, many people are living
these same behaviors. Are you doing things on this list?

Are You Responding or Reacting?

I haven't given this much thought until recently.
I was part of a group discussion of a certain topic,
when someone posed this question to another participant,
"did you respond or react?".

I had to ask the question of..."Is there a difference
between the two?"

Well, according to my understanding of the meanings,
when you respond, you've thought it through, therefore
you are able to act in a positive and more mature fashion.

However, when you react, you are letting the situation or
circumstance get the best of you by controlling you.

The great Zig Ziglar in all his wisdom simply said, "to
respond is positive, to react is negative." Now with that
being said which do you feel you are doing the most of,
responding or reacting?

The outcome of a potential nasty situation such as an
argument can easily be disfused or greatly accelerated
depending upon your choice of either to respond or react.

If we learn how to respond to others rather than react,
this alone can make a huge difference in how successful
we become.

Learning to stay focus and being bigger than our challenges
by projecting more positive qualities than negative will
keep us on the right path to success.

Stop! Making This Mistake

Without a doubt, your friends and
family love you. They are all
about protecting you for your own
good. So, they think! That's why
they want to save you from this
bad thing called "MLM". The one
thing they know nothing about it.

Here's my belief. You should go build
your business and leave them alone.

* Talk to like-minded people.
* Target your market.
* Build your business.
* Get into positive cash.
* Get your car allowance, whatever your company offers.

Your family will still be there. Go talk to them after you
already have built yourself a positive cash flow. Maybe you
have some awesome products they can buy from your website. So,
talk to them about products. But do NOT make the mistake of
talking to friends and family about a business. Don't do it!

Here's the magic that will happen. When you're in positive cash flow,
you walk differently. You talk differently. You have this attitude,
this positiveness. And your friends and family will want a part of that.

They can no longer tell you, "This doesn't work" when it's working.
You're driving your new bonus car, or you've won a company all
expense paid trip to Italy, how can they tell you it doesn't work?

To create long-term success you will need a marketing system
anyway. You will need to be able to tap into the cold market at
some point, So you may as well go ahead and set that up first.
Get that working for you, get successful, and then the friends and family will fall in line.

Tip #23-Know What Your Prospects Want

This is another huge mistake network marketers
are making.

Whenever you enter into a relationship focused on YOUR agenda,
you are failing to listen to the prospect’s wants, needs, and hurts.
They will quickly see that what is important to you is what YOU want.
This is not the way to build stable long lasting relationships.

So, it is so very important that you learn to listen. That means
getting the agenda out of the way so that you may hear the needs of
your prospect. Then and only then will you start to build life changing
relationships, right before your eyes.

What's Bad Business In MLM

We can agree that network marketing is
a mentoring, learning, and a relationship

Program Your Mind For Success

Your mind is being programmed each day.
Either you are doing it yourself or you're
letting someone else do so. If you are not
in charge, then you will really struggle for
success in network marketing.

If you are allowing things like the radio, TV, internet,
newspaper, even family and friends program you, then
you are definitely being programmed for lack and limitation.

When you endure constant negativity day after day, year after
year, it takes a toll on your outlook on life and your network
marketing business. Overall, you'll develop a negative outlook
on all things without even knowing it.

Learn To Program Yourself

When negative family members and friends are talking to us, we
are subconsciously being programmed. To have the success you
desire in life it is critical that you block out all garbage.
Success requires that you get rid of negativity forever!

How do you do this? First, by being critically honest with
yourself. Decide how much success you really want. Next, are
you willing to pay the price to have success by giving up the
radio, TV, etc., all negativity for 30 days?

What a diference having a
mentor has made in my life.
You've heard the old phrase
"two heads are better than one"
spoken before. I finally decided
to believe it. Before I knew any-
thing about mentorship, my life
was in turmoil.

I was beat down from life's disappointments, I was dissatisfied with
the results I had been getting from jumping from program to
program. I was burnt out and frustrated with life and network
marketing/mlm because I wasn't having success.

It wasn't until someone introduced me to a mentoring group, which
was absolutely free of charge, that I started to see mlm in a whole
new light.

When I got plugged into the teaching, mentoring and coaching, my
life started to evolve toward success. I knew nothing about being
mentored before this. A simple case of you don't know that you don't know.

Mentors Stop Beating Yourself Up!

oftentimes as mentors, we become so passionate about
helping the people we choose to join our team that we
make the mistake of trying too hard to please. We usually
end up beaing ourselves up if our team members aren't
progressing steadily toward success.

What's Your Log Jam?

What an interesting word, log jam! I have never before
heard the word until a few weeks ago.

One of my great mentors Art Jonak was conducting our
weekly mentoring session and it consisted of talking about
leadership. He explained that many refer to log jam as
something that is stopping a person from moving forward.

Here's a suggestion. If your team isn't growing or keep falling
away from you, as a leader one may need to take a look at their
own honor, integrity and character level.

These are three traits that must be intact to climb the ladder
of leadership. Of the three, character is of the utmost importance.

Be true to yourself and your team members. Create a culture of
great character and you shall go far in life and your business.
Don't build your business on sand. Clear out the log jams and build
a strong foundation that will enable you to build your business big,
build it once and build it to pay your children's children.

Beware of all the pyramid scams floating around today.
Many people hear the words “get rich or guaranteed,
you can't lose.” They fall prey to these lies. Don't
believe them or you may be very sorry.

As mentors, we beat the drum in our mentoring courses
telling people the importance of doing their homework
on company owners and companies they are looking to join.

We teach how to do this and a whole lot more all for free.
It can be very empowering learning How to think, instead

Fear Can Be A Nightmare

Fear CAN be a nightmare, If you let it!

"Live as if you were to die tomorrow,
Learn as if you were to live forever".

"Do the thing, THEN you will have the Power".

These are famous quotes that we frequently hear as we come
across personal development materials. I like to use them as
boosters to rid myself of things I may be fearing. Repeating
them over and over really seems to help.

I once heard my mentor say that fear is false evidence appearing
real. In other words it is just an illusion that wants to inhibit you
from reaching whatever goal you are striving for at the time.

I've found that the best way to cure fear is to do the thing you
are so afraid of. That's right, when you step towards fear, fear
will then back down. Boom, you have conquered one more false
evidence. What a terrific feeling!

Fear for you now becomes an illusion in the past instead of a
nightmare.
