Self Starters-Decision Maker

Self starter is another way of
saying decision maker. We
won't ever get one thing done
without first making a decision
to do it.

If you are waiting around until you feel "right"
about doing a certain thing, it may never happen.
A self starter or decision maker know that there
is never a "right" time to get started.

Too many people sit around waiting to be motivated.
Decision makers or self starters act on their goals
and the motivation to achieve those goals come as
they take action.

No amount of concentration, or wishful thinking will
get you into action. It's true, things in motion tend to
stay in motion, and things at rest remains at rest. The
more you think about becoming motivated, the better
your chances are that you won't be. Act with a sense of
urgency.

Don't lose precious time waiting for it to be the
right time. Become a decision maker, become a
self starter.

To Your Success,

Success Is A Learning Skill

Most people are always looking for the magic
answers on how to make more money, how to
lose weight, how to (you fill in the blank)

In the words of Brian Klemmer, "If the How-to's
were enough, we'd all be rich, skinny and
happy". Why don't all the how to books and information
seem to "work" for most people?

The answer is:
Because it all comes down to our mindset. Until a person's
mindset is where it needs to be, success will be elusive.

If one really don't believe they deserve success and can
achieve the success desired, it'll never happen. Success
is a learning skill, believe it or not!

I've heard someone say, This business is built
between your ears. (Network Marketing)

I really like the old Henry Ford quote:

"If you think you can, you can and if you think you can't,
you can't" either way you're right.

The best thing you can do for your success is set aside
at least 30 minutes per day to read or listen to personal
development material. Pop in a CD when you're in the car.
Surfing the net is an excellent time to be listening to a CD.

As you change your thoughts and beliefs, your whole
life changes.

The Power Of The Media

We must be careful to protect our minds from the negative
forces from the media. We must not allow our minds to get
bombarded with news about the state of the economy.

If thoughts are things, (which they are) and our words have
power, Wouldn't it be wise to monitor the things we allow
before our eyes and ears?

I was at a healthcare facility today. From where I was sitting
I could hear a conversation between three of the nurses in
the office. One started out with negativity about the unsatisfactory
job the President is doing. Another chimed in arguing about how
members of her family are without jobs. That went on back and
forth.

Shortly a new conversation got started about the high cost of
grocery. It went on and on, one negative sentence after another.
I marveled at how they seem to love discussing the things can't
do anything about.

As I sat there, I began to think how wonderful their energy would
have been spent had they expounded on positive issues instead of
negative. The day surely would be more pleasant for them as well
as their patients, if they had propel positive energy.

I was so tempted to suggest they do a mental cleanse, but I didn't!
I was in a new city only or a short time and they really didn't seem
to be candidates with the personal development spirit. Information
overload is what I was getting from my visit there. That's exactly
what the media does to us if we let it.

My mind felt full and bombarded with poison after being there for
such a short period of time. That really drove the point home of the
importance of keeping our minds free from clutter and negative
chatter.

Do you need a mental cleanse?

Development For Smart People

Mentors Stop Beating Yourself Up!

oftentimes as mentors, we become so passionate about
helping the people we choose to join our team that we
make the mistake of trying too hard to please. We usually
end up beaing ourselves up if our team members aren't
progressing steadily toward success.

Stop doing that now! Point these people to the right source,
that it. You as a mentor are not responsible for another's
success. You also are not responsible for what they do with
the materials you give them to help them succeed.

This video tells you how to acquire the knowledge you need
to succeed in this business. If you are coachable and will not
give up on yourself, you will be successful. Again you are
only responsible for your own successes in life. I can point
you in the right directions. Personal Development is a must.

Your success mentor,

What Are Your Limiting Beliefs?

The case of the Rice Syndrome

I became aware of a false belief or limiting belief that has been
embedded in me for a number of years. What's so funny is I
never would have come to know about its existence had I not
been a student of personal development.

Here is what surfaced as I was cooking my Sunday dinner the
other day. I was done with everything except for the rice.
It was well on its way, when my mind took me away from what
I was doing.

I habitually lift the lid up to take a peep at the rice, not realizing
it I began to stir it. All of a sudden my mind returned me back to
the present. Out of know where I became frantic! Why was this?

A memory from the past came to light. As a young girl, I
remember watching my mother cook rice. She always said,
“don't ever stir rice while it's cooking, it will leave a hole
in it and turn out sticky”.

As I thought about the words from my mother, I then realized
just how silly that sounds. Right then and there I decided to challenge
that limiting belief. I stirred and stirred. When the rice was ready it
was perfect. It wasn't anything like what my mother told me years
ago. I now have a new belief and have eliminated one more false belief.

What are some of YOUR false beliefs that have been limiting you
without your awareness? Think hard about all the things you believe
you could not or should not do. Challenge those same behaviors and
know the truth about them.

Napoleon Hill said it best. That most of our false beliefs comes from
well meaning people like our relatives, teachers, friends, parents and
advertisements, and so on. They mean well but they are harming us
without knowing it when they force their own beliefs onto us.

I'm so thankful for my new found awareness. It illustrates perfectly
just how powerful a belief can be upon our behaviors and our ability
to do different things. I hope my confession helps to spark new
awareness in the lives of others.

A Positive Attitude Is Key For Success

What is a positive attitude? Being self-
assured and satisfied with your inner-self
is the beginning of the process. It's a
healthy self-image that radiates love and
sureness and makes the people who are around you feel
the same way.

Having an optimistic mental state or positive attitude is a key
ingredient for attaining success in every aspect of your life.
Your attitude determines how you approach your life and is
reflected in your career, business ventures, accomplishments and
relationships.

To achieve your desires in life it is essential that you have a
winner’s attitude. People that we idolize for achieving
prominence would not have accomplished their desires by living
their life with a negative attitude. The rewarding elements for a
blessed life are accepting yourself, having the ability to
visualize your success and having the right attitude.

A positive attitude promotes an idealistic outlook on life. You
will feel more cheerful, healthier, more energetic and grounded.
Your trust in yourself and your abilities will be magnified. By
embracing an open and positive attitude your mind will be more
alert to the opportunities that will start to come your way.

Often when people have a negative attitude they become
exceedingly centered on their own problems and are unable to see
the opportunities that are standing before them. Once you train
your mind to automatically adopt a positive attitude, your
difficulties will not be as momentous and you will seem to
handle them with ease.

We are all captivated by positive people. They make us feel
great about life by lifting our spirits. Both positive and
negative attitudes are very infectious so it will be wise to
spend your time with positive, uplifting people and you will
attract the same energy.

When you absolutely believe that your goals will become
a reality you then have within you the potential to be,
do and have whatever you desire. Couple this with a positive
attitude and you will be unstoppable. It was quoted back in the
1900's that it would be impossible for man to fly. Then the
Wright Brothers piloted the world’s first powered
airplane two weeks later. The Wright Brothers had a definite
advantage, they positively believed that their goal was
achievable!

Don’t let fear of failure hold you back from pursuing your
dreams. Trust in your dreams. When you approach life with a
positive attitude your spirit will be attracted to like energy
which will magnetically draw the right people towards you. By
taking on an attitude like the Wright Brothers, and believing
that anything is possible, we all will be able to soar to
greater heights and create huge successes. As long as we are
mindful of one of the main keys to success is a positive
attitude.

If you are looking to attract like energy get around the positive

Becoming A Go-Giver For Success

Many people who are striving to be successful
consider themselves as go-getters. However, along
their journey for success, oftentimes their plans
to get there are missing some of the main ingredients.
For greater success it is more important to focus on
becoming a go-giver rather than a go-getter.

I want to share some advice on how to guarantee your
success. I read this great book called The Go-Giver by
Bob Burg and John David Mann. it gives five laws that
really lay out the road map to success.

1. The Law of Value-giving more in value than you take
in payment is what determines your true worth.

2. Law of Compensation-means your income will be
determined by how many people you serve well.

3. Law of Influence-When you place other's interests
first, will determine how you influence people.

4. Law of Authenticity-The most valuable gift your can
offer is yourself.

5. The Law of Receptivity-many quote that it's better
to give than receive. The key to effective giving
is to always remain open to receiving.

As long as you incorporate these five laws of Stratospheric
into your life, you are headed for success. You are now
becoming a go-giver.
