4 Basic Fears

Our business in life is to achieve success. In
order to be successful you must find peace
of mind, acquire the material needs of life,
and above all attain happiness. All of these
begins with thoughts in the mind, but
sometimes fear can prevent us from acquiring these things.

Fear is a universal thing. There are so many different fears
that it would be next to impossible to name them all. It takes
time to overcome most fear, it could take minutes, days, months,
years, and in some cases even a lifetime.

In Think and Grow Rich, Napoleon Hills speaks about six basic
fears that the human suffers at one time or another. I'd like
to address four basic fears people encounter as they seek to
succeed in the area of their professional life.

They are:
Fear of Competition-People love to compare themselves to others.
They generally use the state of others lives to measure their own
progress or lack of it. The end result is usually they end up feeling
as if they are not worthy to compete.

Fear of Controversy-This one is most common. People are emotionally
charged and the fear of coming up against any dispute hold many
back from success.

Fear of What People Say-Personal growth/development can really
assist in this area. What people say shouldn't affect your actions
because it is none of your business what others think of YOU. The
only thing that matters is what you think of yourself.

Fear of Things You Can't Control-Shed worry and anxiety by not
giving attention to things you have no control over. Instead, fix
your mind on those that are in your control such as your attitude
and actions.

Success is not about competition, controversy or what others say.
Success is an internal job. Strengthen your inner being and the
outer will fall into place.

Commonality of Success

Success is a goal that can be achieved by anyone.
Many don't agree with this saying, yet it is true.

If you were to ask any successful
person, one after another, how
they reached their goals, you will
more than likely have a list of the same success commonality.

To be successful you must first have the desire. A desire
to be more, do more and have more than you currently do.

Success is making a commitment. Make a commitment to
yourself that you will get from life all that you want.

Success requires these three things, to:
1. Know what you WANT.
2. Know what it will COST to get it.
3. Be willing to PAY the PRICE.

The road to success requires many additional things, but
the most important one is to be willing to INVEST in YOU.
You must learn to have right thinking about yourself. People
are their own worst critics.

Learn how to develop a strong self image of yourself. Imagine
being the person you want to become. Everything begins with
imagination. Napoleon Hill teaches that imagination is more
important than knowledge.

If you are going to be successful, you must begin with the end
result in mind. See yourself doing the things you would like to
do and being the person you want to become.

The time has come to stop wishing and start creating a life of
success. The life you were meant to have.

Most people attend our master mind classes and learn to develop
such skills for success. All for free!

Paralyzed By Fear?

Are you one who is paralyzed by fear or
empowered by hope?

Let's face it, there are many symptoms
of fear. There's the fear of loss, fear of
pain, fear of death, fear of failure,
even fear of success. The most
common fear of all that grips people
the hardest is the fear of criticism.

People will refuse to take chances in
business or act on any endeavor because they are afraid to
be criticized. They feel that failure will come about as a result
of the criticism, and usually it does.

Most people are insanely fearful. Can you imagine going through
your life being miserable and unhappy because of a mistake or
poor choice in marriage? The very act of choosing not to make
corrections because of the criticism that may come from the
efforts of correcting the mistake? It happens everyday.

The majority of society allow relatives, friends, and others to
influence their lives and any decision, so they cannot live their
own lives for fear of criticism.

One thing I know is criticism is highly over rated. Napoleon Hill
says it's the one thing that everyone has too much of. He went on
to say even a thief will criticize the very person he's stealing
from. Fear of criticism has been a long standing problem for many.
So much so that Napoleon Hill dedicated a whole section on it in
his classic book "Think and Grow Rich".

So, how do we wean ourselves from the grips of being afraid of this
fear? By learning to develop courage through hope. The Bible tells us
continuously to "Fear Not". We start by trusting and developing hope
in a power much greater than ourselves.

At Mentoring For Free we teach that network marketing is a
relationship building business. Well, so is life. The first and
foremost relationship needful is one with ourselves and our Source.

Learn to be empowered by hope. This and so much more can be
accomplished by being a part of our master mind group of like
minded people. By doing so you will discover hope for a better future
with no more fear.

To your success,

Imagination

The use of our imagination is the greatest
tool we have for creating our own future.
It plays a far more important role in our
lives than most of us realize.

Where are you allowing your imagination to lead you?

Beware, of the fact that you can use the imagination as
a creative side or a destructive one. Which ever one we
put the most focus on will be the outcome of the goals
in which we set.

We as humans always act, feel and perform in exact
accordance to what we imagine to be true. It being about
ourselves or anything else. It's just a fundamental law of
the mind.

Take for instance this little story from my childhood past.
I did not know it back then, but by using the destructive
side of my imagination as a child, I actually created
something in my future. Here's the story in brief!

During my early school days, It seems I would always
get harassed by this one guy that had a silly schoolboy
crush on me. He'd often say "I'm gonna marry you!
and
your name will be Mrs. Rena Williams".

I would always respond, "that's such an ugly name
and it
will never be my name!". It seems as though I
actually hated this guy. He harassed me day in and out.
Years passed, I grew up, he grew up. Although I didn't
marry this particular guy, I did however marry and my
new name became Rena Williams.

When I thought about this, and how it happen so many years
ago, it was actually quite funny. I knew nothing about destructive
imagination or creative but I can see evidence all the time that it
indeed works.

So once again, how are you allowing your imagination to shape
your future?

Join me as we discuss the chapter on Imagination in Think & Grow

Knowledge Is Power-Or Not!

Its Wednesday and it is a special day for many
network marketers. It is the day that our
mastermind group join forces and we discuss
a chapter out of Think And Grow Rich by
Napoleon Hill. You see, we are all doing what is
called the 30 day Mental Cleanse.

It is step one in personal growth. You don't look at TV/Radio, or
newspaper, magazine, gossip, etc. None of this stuff is allowed
during your mental. Our mental cleanse program is life changing,
and is known by many as being the very vehicle that has taken
their business to the next level.

If you are serious about creating the lifestyle you want, then
personal development is a "must". You will get six months of
personal development training in 30 days with our mental cleanse
program. AND the best part is it's absolutely free of charge. The
ONLY thing it will cost you is your time.

As, our mentor always says, "Is your life worth 30 days?"

We are on Chapter 5-Specialized Knowledge, below is a lesson
turned in by a friend Frances Johns; Frances writes

Dear Michael,

Dr. Hill states that "an educated man is one who has
so developed the faculties of his mind that he may
acquire anything he wants, or its equivalent, without
violating the rights of others."

This I understand to be the ultimate state of living to
attain to. Wow! To acquire anything you want without
violating the rights of others................

It is obvious that the education he refers to is beyond
one's schooling and refers to a person who is a critical
thinker and an individual who is using his mind on a
higher plane than the average person.

This person will attract to himself those things which
are in like vibration with his desires as he focuses on
them with feeling and emotion.

This can be accomplished through my self-talk and
as I see in my mind my ideas becoming my reality.

The knowledge I need to accomplish my ideas need
not be all my own Dr. Hill states. Thank God for this
wonderful mastermind group of Mentoring For Free
which helps us to aquire the specialized knowledge
to attain our utmost desires.

Thank you Michael for the wonderful spirit of giving
that you showcase to the team......you are the only
man I have seen in two years of on-line research
(in the art of making money through the inter-net)
that truly has found the secret of it all.

Your team member,
Frances Johns

How Deep Is Your Desire?

A burning desire to be, do, and have is in fact the starting point in
which we as dreamers must take off, according to Napoleon Hill.

Dreamer, now there's a term I don't hear too often. Possibly because
somewhere between childhood and adult hood, my dreams got
squashed. Rather than being told by my authority figures what I
could do, it was branded into me what I couldn't do.

I'll be forever grateful to the Mentoring For Free mastermind teams
and other like minded friends that I have learned how to think for
myself. I've learn how to be a critical thinker.

I now know that it is "I" that control the direction in which my life will
flow. The biblical phrase "As a Man Thinketh, so is he has never been
more clear.

I love that one phrase from Think and Grow Rich that says, "If the
thing you wish to do is right and you believe in it, go ahead and do it!"
Stick to your dreams, never mind what others may say. For they
may not know that every failure brings with it a seed of equivalent
success.

Although, I feel like I've been through ten thousands failures already,
I know that I'll be, do, and have all that I desire. I am a winner, as
long as I keep before me my definiteness of purpose, knowledge of
what I want and a deep burning desire to possess it.

I also know when my desire is deep enough, no dream of mine can be
denied.

How deep is your desire?

What Is Success?

My thought for you today is very short but profound.
Success has been defined in many different ways...

Here's some of my favorite quotes:

Success is getting up one more time than you fall down.

"Ask yourself what you would do even if you were
never paid. That's a clue to what you should be
doing and of course finding a way to be paid
for it. You can attract more money from love."

Dr. Joe Vitale:

"We can tap our own healing forces by learning to use the
power the mind has over the body. Healing is part of
self-realization, a process of becoming whole and healthy."

Dr. Gerald Epstein

Failure permits no Alibis

and Believe it can Achieve

Thoughts Are Things

Our mastermind group is studying Think
And Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. Each we
different lessons are chosen and we discuss
what it meant for us.

Here's a lesson from one member, I'd like
to share with all. Dianne Brodie writes:

Chapter 1 Think & Grow Rich

Power of Thoughts

Here we go again - 4th time around.

Michel E. Gerber said: "The difference between great
people and everyone else is that great people create
their lives actively, while everyone else is created
by their lives, passively waiting to see where life
takes them next. The difference between the two is
the difference between living fully and just existing.

So am I going to continue to just exist or start to
live fully. Am I going to put this learning to work
for me or just continue to read the book and try
instead of do.

"Thoughts are thing!" When I have a thought
that I focus on and continue to have over and
over again it will eventually become my reality.
Now if that thought does not serve me - say
for example - Network marketing is hard or
people join and then never do anything - this
is what my efforts will turn into. These thoughts
do not serve me because they are negative.

What makes me different from all other forms
of life is that I have the advantage to change
my thoughts and also to change how I react
to what is happening to me. I can have a nice
pity party with myself and maybe get other
like-minded people to come celebrate with me
or I can change my mind by rewording my
thoughts and changing my reaction to a
positive spin. For example - Network Marketing
is easy and fun and the people joining me will
discover this when they are ready and because
I am a winner I keep on moving forward and
taking action.

Positive thoughts vibrate at a much higher level
than other thoughts. When I add enthusiasm,
joy, hope, belief and love they vibrate at a
extremely high rate and open me to a Universal
Power.]

Dr. Hill says, "Before I can accumulate riches in
great abundance I must magnetize my mind with
an internal desire for the riches."

My next step is to be "very clear" on what I desire.

In the meantime: I will greet each day with love,
joy and enthusiasm in my heart, in my very soul.
I feel that joy bubbling up and spreading through
my body - from my toes to my nose - filling every
cell of my body.

I am hopeful for the future and grateful for the
present.

Oh yes this time around I will be digging deep.

With gratitude,
Your friend for life,
Dianne Brodie

'do,'and do before you can 'have.' "

Most accomplished people will tell You,
all the know-how in the world is worth
NOTHING without the correct mind-set.

What Are Your Limiting Beliefs?

The case of the Rice Syndrome

I became aware of a false belief or limiting belief that has been
embedded in me for a number of years. What's so funny is I
never would have come to know about its existence had I not
been a student of personal development.

Here is what surfaced as I was cooking my Sunday dinner the
other day. I was done with everything except for the rice.
It was well on its way, when my mind took me away from what
I was doing.

I habitually lift the lid up to take a peep at the rice, not realizing
it I began to stir it. All of a sudden my mind returned me back to
the present. Out of know where I became frantic! Why was this?

A memory from the past came to light. As a young girl, I
remember watching my mother cook rice. She always said,
“don't ever stir rice while it's cooking, it will leave a hole
in it and turn out sticky”.

As I thought about the words from my mother, I then realized
just how silly that sounds. Right then and there I decided to challenge
that limiting belief. I stirred and stirred. When the rice was ready it
was perfect. It wasn't anything like what my mother told me years
ago. I now have a new belief and have eliminated one more false belief.

What are some of YOUR false beliefs that have been limiting you
without your awareness? Think hard about all the things you believe
you could not or should not do. Challenge those same behaviors and
know the truth about them.

Napoleon Hill said it best. That most of our false beliefs comes from
well meaning people like our relatives, teachers, friends, parents and
advertisements, and so on. They mean well but they are harming us
without knowing it when they force their own beliefs onto us.

I'm so thankful for my new found awareness. It illustrates perfectly
just how powerful a belief can be upon our behaviors and our ability
to do different things. I hope my confession helps to spark new
awareness in the lives of others.

My Thoughts On Desire

A Review Of Napaoleon Hill's
Think & Grow Rich-Chpt. 2

Burning Desire

A burning desire to BE and to DO anything is the starting
point in which a dreamer takes off. In order to reach my goals,
my desires cannot be a hope or a wish it has to be a burning
desire with a definite purpose. Such as that which Barnes
possessed.

He had the thought to become business partners with Edison.
That thought then became a pulsating desire until his dream
became his reality. It didn't happen over night or within a few
weeks. Nevertheless, it did happen because he stayed focused
on his desires.

Napoleon tells us that five years passed by before Barnes chance
that he was seeking made its appearance. Many give up way to
easily. When there's a burning desire, there is NO time frame.

So, the lesson learned here is never give up on a dream.
It will happen when I'm truly ready for it and believe that it can
be acquired. A desire can be so strong that it can even out wit mother
nature in some cases, it can change lives and create miracles.
One really could think and grow rich.

Mastermind Your Way To Success

"For where two or three are
gathered together in my name,
there I am in the midst of thee.
Matt. 18:20"

Q. What's the one thing all
successful people have in
common?

A. They all harness the power of
a mastermind group?

It may sound like something new but the meeting of the masterminds
has been around for centuries now. Napoleon Hill spoke about it in
his book that was published back in 1937 called Think and Grow Rich.

If you were to do a study you will find that every super
successful person is a part of an elite mastermind group.

I couldn't comprehend the power that is generated through the use
of a mastermind until I became part of one. So much more can be
accomplished through the use of a group because as the old saying
goes “two heads are better than one”.This is such a true statement. Imagine all the amazing energy that is
developed in a mastermind setting. Power not only comes to us from
those in the mastermind group but it also comes from the power above.

Mentoring For Free offers a superb coaches corner session every
Saturday night at 10:30 p.m. Eastern. If you want to mastermind

Thoughts Are Things-My Review

This is My review of Chapter 1 of Napoleon
Hill's classic, Think and Grow Rich.

Our thoughts can be powerful things when
mixed with definite purpose, persistence,
and a burning desire.

In this chapter, Barnes proved to us that
thoughts can indeed be translated into riches
or any material object desired, as he thought
his way into partnership with Edison.

He had a formula that required a step by step plan.
simular to our Mentoring For Free receipe that Sarah
and Judi shared on one of our previous training call.

Barnes started with the end result in mind, which was
to become the business associate of edison. That was
(the thought and definite purpose.) next, came the
presistence.

His persistence was a made up mind to stand by until
he succeeded. I've learn to never give up on the goals
I'm reaching for NO matter HOW rocky the road may
become. Hill calls this meeting with temporary defeat.

Even when it seemed like Barnes would be nothing more
than an ordinary employee, he was constantly intensify-
ing his desires to be in partnership. (this was the
burning desire)

Like the receipe of Mentoring For Free, I have to stay
consistent in thinking about the results I want. Barnes
mind was so filled with reaching his goal that it became
an obsession. He took every action necessary to achieve
what he sat out to achieve.

After months of being consistent in his thoughts, desires,
and actions, it was then that the opportinity happened.
We would call it a breakthrough or getting results.
It's no different with me. If I follow the receipe like
Barnes, I am sure to get the results I'm seeking.

I will keep that "I'll never give up, until I get what I
want attitude."

I much rather be like Barnes ANYDAY to stick to the
receipe and reach every one of my goals, instead of
being like the crew that stopped digging 3 feet away
from the jackpot of gold.

They quit only 3 feet from their breakthrough!
I will not deny myself of my dreams, goals and
aspirations by drifting off course. I will follow the
receipe and reap success.

You can get the receipe today!

Wishing You the Best,
Rena Williams
