Stop! Making This Mistake

Without a doubt, your friends and
family love you. They are all
about protecting you for your own
good. So, they think! That's why
they want to save you from this
bad thing called "MLM". The one
thing they know nothing about it.

Here's my belief. You should go build
your business and leave them alone.

* Talk to like-minded people.
* Target your market.
* Build your business.
* Get into positive cash.
* Get your car allowance, whatever your company offers.

Your family will still be there. Go talk to them after you
already have built yourself a positive cash flow. Maybe you
have some awesome products they can buy from your website. So,
talk to them about products. But do NOT make the mistake of
talking to friends and family about a business. Don't do it!

Here's the magic that will happen. When you're in positive cash flow,
you walk differently. You talk differently. You have this attitude,
this positiveness. And your friends and family will want a part of that.

They can no longer tell you, "This doesn't work" when it's working.
You're driving your new bonus car, or you've won a company all
expense paid trip to Italy, how can they tell you it doesn't work?

To create long-term success you will need a marketing system
anyway. You will need to be able to tap into the cold market at
some point, So you may as well go ahead and set that up first.
Get that working for you, get successful, and then the friends and family will fall in line.

Big "AL" Gives Great Advice

A member of Tom's forum had an interesting question.
Does this sound like something you'll like to ask?

I've been using a few company-provided free leads and I've also purchased leads (local market and real-time leads) with little to no success. I've also used postcard leads with no success.

Where are the best places to post my business opportunity on the internet to drive potential leads to my website? It seems like every free or economical place to post specifically says NO MLM posts or else ...

I'm trying to build my business and I'm getting very discouraged with all the hurdles out there. Any assistance and suggestions you all provide will be greatly appreciated and I thank you so very much in advance!

One more thing - my business is primarily internet and phone driven (nationally) with no face-to-face presentations.

Leads are just people.

You have tried many types of leads, and none of the leads worked.

That's the problem. It is not the lead, it is what we say and do with the lead.

Here is my experience. When I first started, nobody was interested. Everyone I talked to was lazy, unmotivated, busy, skeptical, etc.

Hmmm, what was the common denominator here. Me!

I was at the scene of the crime every time :)

It was only after I learned the skills of what to say that my "luck" changed.

I didn't need more new leads to ruin. I just needed to say the right things.

So give yourself a test.

1. What is the first sentence you say to introduce your business to these leads? Can you write it down? Has it worked?

2. What are the sentences you use to get the leads to agree to listen to your opportunity? Can you write it down? Has it worked?

3. What "Ice Breaker" do you use to get your leads to ask you for a presentation? Can you write it down? Has it worked?

If you can't write these three things down, chances are this could be one of the problems.

We have to invest the time to learn the skills of our trade/profession. And this forum is a great place to start.

Is The Search For Success Killing You?

There are countless people
searching for the right keys for
success. You will find most of
them on the internet, but they
are also everywhere including
your own back yard so to speak.

Everyone's looking for the best

If your life is anything like mine was at one point, you were

the blind leading the blind. None of this stuff works.

After many months of spinning my wheels, I can tell you with
absolute certainty, all those lines were lies. I finally found a
group of people that taught the truth. I learned that my failure
to reach success was definitely not my fault. I received the
skills and training that was offered and I started to utilize it
in my everyday business operation. My results turned around for
the good.

So, I'm here to tell you that you don't have to do any of the
above familiar things in order to gain success. You sure don't
have to lose your health. All you have to do is get connected to
the right source. A place where true skills are taught and the
training really works. This includes a duplicatable system that
will make your success journey easy and almost effortless.

Stop listening to the hype about getting a hundred no's before
you get one yes. Or working from the break of dawn until you can
no longer keep your eyes open. With the right people, right
