~The Ant and the Elephant~

There's an old saying, "you can't
teach an old dog new tricks."
How true is that?

I'm not sure! What about
training an elephant?

Now here's a more shocking
question. How can a tiny ant
move a huge elephant? Most will say it's
impossible yet, it all depends on what
represents the ant and what's representing the elephant.

If you are one that enjoy the study of physics,
mainly the operation of our conscious and subconscious mind, you will
marvel over this book Vince Poscente wrote titled "The Ant and the
Elephant".

This is a very creative story of an Ant name Adir who represents our
conscious mind along with Elgo the elephant representing our
stubborn subconscious. The story tells of the magnificent effort Adir
uses to redirect his subconscious (the elephant) to reach the goals he want to achieve.

What an incredible story and powerful illustration to help us to
understand the dynamic relationship between our conscious and
subconscious thoughts. I must admit when I first heard the title
of the book I didn't have a clue what it was about. As a matter
of fact, I thought to myself what a childish name for a book. I had
no interest in reading this book. Then I heard someone speak
about the good content. That really got my attention.

Boy oh boy was I wrong in prejudging this book! We've heard it said
many times, not to judge a book by its cover. This was a time those
words really ring true. I learned a great lesson that day.

Understanding our mind could be a difficult task. Poscente's story
makes it easier and it helps to bring out your best performance
in the leadership role. This is one book you must add to your library
of business and leadership collections. You will be amazed as I was
as to what can be learned from this simple little story. A great read!

There Is No Perfect Company!

How long have you been in search
for the perfect company? You know
the one...it has EVERYTHING perfectly
in place. It has the best pay plan, the
right products with the right prices. It
even has the best trainers. The
company owners are family men and women.

These are the companies that attracts only
the right partners. ALL the distributors and upline get along
perfectly swell. Everything is always lovey-dovey and peaches and
cream. Are you looking for that company still? If you are...

I have got some good news and bad news. The good news is there are
a lot of good companies out there. The bad news is, you will never
find a company that is perfect and has the best of everything. Don't exist!!

I once heard a wise leader say "all companies are great, up until the
point where they add people." I must say that's a great statement.
The point is, if you have chosen network marketing as your avenue
to gain your financial freedom, you must choose one company that
you feel is the best fit for you and your needs.

Ask yourself, does this company supply the products of your interests?
Does the compensation plan satisfy you, what about the training the
company offers? How much do you know about the primary owners?,
Is the pay out period weekly or monthly? Once you establish a
satisfactory answer to each of these questions, It is then time to
make your decision to commit to the company and work steadily
at reaching your financial goals.

Anyone that jumps from company to company in search of the perfect
company soon realize that their moving from here to there is simply
a waste of precious time and lack of commitment. There is no
perfect companies.

I firmly believe all companies has some good within them. Our job as
network marketers is to choose one to commit to and do all that can
be done to make it work for us and to stop searching for a perfect company.

There is no perfect company. I can almost guarantee that when you
locate a company that has a lot of the elements you are looking for in
a company. It will also have either something missing or something
that you find dissatisfying. That's just the way it is.

People that try to work with more than one company in hopes of
finding the missing pieces are only doing themselves a huge
disservice. We hear about them all the time, you know multiple
streams of income. The problem with that is you lose focus on
what's really important. There's never enough time to allow
yourself to distribute enough focus and energy to be good at neither.

So, I would say to expend all of your time and energy on committing
to making one business successful first, then start on the other. The
bottom line is to focus and commit, to give up searching for the
perfect company. Plant good seeds where you are now.

The Master key

There is a popular system called the
Master Key System which thousands
upon thousands of people are
discovering and deciding to us as
their vehicle to gaining positive changes
in their lives.

The Master Key book is known to be one
of the greatest books ever written. The
techniques within it are ancient, nothing
new whatsoever. As a matter of fact,
these techniques were being used long
before the movie "The Secret" was introduced to the world.

Law of Attraction scholars everywhere have since taught
some of the techniques, yet, not going into great details.

You might ask, "so, how is this Master key system any
different?" A brief answer would be, the course is designed
to teach various ways to acquire lasting results in whatever
area you are wanting a change.

As I mentioned it was among the first books to use the phrase
Law of Attraction, which has now become a popular term today
when referring to the most powerful force in the Universe.
It is simply one of the finest studies in personal power and
prosperity consciousness that exists today.

Because this system teaches how to create abundance and wealth,
it was quickly banned by the church in the year 1933. The Master
key was hidden away for decades for that reason. Finally people
such as Bill Gates and many, many others somehow discovered and
read the Master Key System and we all know his results.

Since, then the course is now being taught by many who appreciate
the value it brought into their own lives. It is a week by week
course and could take from 24-26 weeks to complete. It offers
step by step guidance and really is a fun class to take.

Nutrient Dense Food

Today let's place our focus on the arena of health.

Have you heard all the talk about
nutrient dense foods and how this
information can change your life?

Nutrient dense foods are foods
that retain a high level of nutrients.

Most food taste good, but how much nutrient
they offer should be our main concern.

If you study the food pyramid you will see
the USDA's focus is the minimum amount of nutrients
needed and not the amount to ensure robust health.

Here's a little story of nutrient dense foods that may
interest you for several reasons.

1. It will change the way you think about every bite
of food you consume for the rest of your life....in a
positive way.

2. It will help you become healthier, live longer and have
more energy.

3. It will help you reach your weight goals...and much more!

It's a comparison of two types of bread:

White bread is bread made from wheat flour from which the bran and
germ have been removed, in contrast to whole wheat bread made
from whole wheat flour, in which these parts are retained and
contribute a brownish color.

I want you to think about the difference between a one ounce slice
of bleached white bread and a one ounce slice of whole wheat bread.

Which of these 2 kinds of breads do you think has a higher nutrient
density?

You guessed it....the wheat bread which still has it's germ and
vitamins intact has more nutrients per ounce than the white bread.

OKay, so now let's take this formula and apply it to all the foods
that we eat. What we want is to consume as much "nutrient dense"
food as possible.

The human body is an extremely complicated machine; it requires a
wide variety of nutrients to maintain a constant state of health.
But the simple truth is that the average American does not get the
nourishment needed to maintain a healthy body free of disease.

The reason is that they are consuming processed "nutrient poor"
foods. They are getting calories but they are not getting quality
nutrition.

We can take the knowledge we gained from the story of "nutrient
dense" foods and apply it to our lives for positive change.

How do we do that?

It is actually very easy. Make it a habit to start thinking about
the food that you consume on a daily basis. Think about the
nutrient density of the food. If it is processed food it will
likely have a poor nutrient density.

If it is an organically grown fresh vegetable it will likely have
a high nutrient density. The idea is to eat more nutrient dense
foods. Look for foods that are closest to their natural state
such as fresh fruits and vegetables and other raw foods.

Fresh foods have higher nutrient values than processed food.
Read the nutritional labels of the food you buy.

Another simple way to make sure you are getting nutrient dense

I warn people all the time, to watch what they

My heart goes out to those that are victims or
have been victims of a business faltering because
of the misuse of words. The lesson to be learned
here is to be honest, yet don't make claims. Run
your life and business with the utmost integrity.

I recently listened to a CD that gave 12
attibutes of leadership. On this CD, it
was suggested that you rate yourself
and see how well you stack up as a leader.

To take the quiz you have to be totally
honest with yourself and give the correct

Focus On The Right Vibration

Focusing on the way you want
your life to be when things not
going your way in the present

and bad behavior all become non-issues.

You will purify your vibration from the stuff you don't like and
will replace it with the things you do like, appreciate and want.
And with far less trouble than you think and in far
less time and effort than you think. You will begin to offer a
vibration that will net you evidence of your thoughts. That
evidence is nothing more than the indication of the improved
story you are telling.

Remember, you are Source Energy that has come here to
create and you are worthy of every idea that comes to you.
The resources of the universe are here to assist you in your

~~Freedom ~~

In the United States of America
lies a large industrial city which
is the site of one of the world's
largest slave labor camps. Each
morning the slaves move herd
-like from their quarters into the slave labor camps.

Each one is at his or her station by 7:30 AM. Here they report to their master for the day's duties. And here they remain chained until 5:00 PM when they're
released to go home.

The slaves have no choice as to how many hours they must labor.
Sometimes they are required to work overtime until their master
tells them they may leave and go home.

Each year the slaves are told when to take their vacations, for
how long, and when they must return.

They have little choice as to how much money they earn as they are
paid not what they are worth, but what the job is worth.

They are allowed very little time for lunch and coffee breaks during
the labor hours.

The slaves will remain in their chains in great fear because the
master can punish them with the "firing"or"layoff" whip. It is
said that even some of the older slaves who have been good
and faithful have felt the sting of the whip.

Day by day, year-by-year, the slaves toil and grow older until the master decides it is time to release them to the retirement camps where they're forced to sit idle and wait for death.

It's a well-known fact that the old slaves who try to keep working
are sometimes whipped with a "stop-their-pension" whip.

I know these slave camps exist for I once was a slave.
But now I am a free man who lives among the slaves.
The reason I am free is because I am in business for myself as
a Network Marketer.

Yes, I am truly free. I arise in the morning at the hour called for by
my schedule. I decide my own hours. I can even sleep in late while
the slaves are at work.

I can vacation when, where, I please. I'm free to take my coffee break
and lunch when I want, and of course, I can decide my own paycheck
because I am not a slave.

I can choose to work when and where I please and with whom I please.
I'm free to stay in the city for as long as I want, or to move on to
greener pastures if I decide to.

I've seen many slaves sadly pack their belongings to leave their city
in search of a new master, but it is always the same.

There is, however, a ray of hope for the slave. He or she can buy
their own freedom. The cost is not high. Only to those without COURAGE to pay the price.

didn't come back to me at all.'That is when I point out the most
important part of the 'Give and you shall receive' theory.
To attract money fast and tap into this hidden law of attraction, you
must give whatever it is you desire but you can't expect to receive it
back from the exact source you gave to.

* If you want money, give money or help someone make money
* If you want success, help someone find success
* If you want love, give love to someone else

Then let it go and move on. The universe will give what you have
given back to you and in abundance. Trust it; don't look for it, know
that the money, success, love etc. that you desire is on its way to you.

There are two types of income
in the world, but unfortunately

Can you train your thoughts like you'd train a dog?

Does that sound ridiculous? Okay, look at it this way.
Your thoughts come from a combination of your background
and environment, life experience, and your
observations. And the way you look at each of those is entirely under your control.

You've probably noticed that things change out there in the world. Life can be very unpredictable at times. And yet the biggest
problem most people have is that they expect they will get the
same bad results in the future as they got last week or 20 years ago.

You can train your brain to think the way you want it to, to achieve
the best MLM results. And you must. Train yourself to focus better,
and you will be a different person. Set a goal of making faster
decisions. Maybe put yourself on a timer for tough decisions, so you
don't stew over them. Right or wrong, just go ahead. You will become
a more effective and happier person.

A lot of people think they need more information to make a decision.
In the real world, you often still make the wrong choice even with
a lot more information. So you're better off to just make a choice,
execute it, find out if it's right or wrong, and then keep going or
change course, based on the feedback you get from life.

That is a LOT like you'd train a dog. It's very simple. Just take the
same attitude toward your own mind. Put yourself in charge, and
tell it what to do. Your life goes a lot better that way.

~Commonalities of Non-Achievers

Over the years my mentor did an observation of
people who had not achieved what they want in
life, and he came up with an interesting discovery.

He came to realize that each of them possessed some
of the same strange practices. These strange practices
seem to be a mental "to do" list for sure failure.

Here's how a non achiever's list reads:

1. Don't listen to successful people.

2. Get your advice from those you know and anyone
who doesn't have a dream.

3. Plan, plan, plan. Get ready to get ready, make sure
everything is perfect before you actually do something.

4. Blame everyone else for your failure to have what
you want.

5. Remind yourself daily, what a loser you are.

6. Repeat your same mistakes over and over.

7. Keep going in the same wrong direction to get
what you want.

8. Don't replace your limiting, negative thoughts
with positive ones.

9. Keep spending all your time with unsuccessful people.

10. Insist that you are always right; being wrong is
worst than failing.

As ridiculous as this list may seem, many people are living
these same behaviors. Are you doing things on this list?

When you first made a decision to start your own business,
or be your own boss did you think it was going to be a bed

2. Not Investing in Yourself-Investing in your growth, knowledge
and skills is the single most important area of your business.
It gives you an incredible outcome if you invest time in training
to learn how to build your business. Get excited and attend the
seminars, conventions and workshops. Purchase the audios and tools.
Look at it as funding your dream.

3. Expecting To Do No Work-Many entrepreneurs expect the journey
to success to be smoothe sailing. They expect somehow to become
an overnight success without putting in the necessary work or hours.

Be realistic by knowing that you must put forth the effort. I'm not
saying to burn yourself out or suffer in a big way but do put forth
a good honest effort to take the necessary actions to reach your
goals. Visualization is nothing without taking the action steps to go with it.

These are a few of the most common mistakes made by up and rising
entrepreneurs all the time. There are no short cuts to success. Every
destination requires directions to get there. Remember, the external
always matches the internal beliefs. To ensure you will end up at your
chosen destination take the time, and the right steps to arrive
prosperous, happy and secure.

Are You Responding or Reacting?

I haven't given this much thought until recently.
I was part of a group discussion of a certain topic,
when someone posed this question to another participant,
"did you respond or react?".

I had to ask the question of..."Is there a difference
between the two?"

Well, according to my understanding of the meanings,
when you respond, you've thought it through, therefore
you are able to act in a positive and more mature fashion.

However, when you react, you are letting the situation or
circumstance get the best of you by controlling you.

The great Zig Ziglar in all his wisdom simply said, "to
respond is positive, to react is negative." Now with that
being said which do you feel you are doing the most of,
responding or reacting?

The outcome of a potential nasty situation such as an
argument can easily be disfused or greatly accelerated
depending upon your choice of either to respond or react.

If we learn how to respond to others rather than react,
this alone can make a huge difference in how successful
we become.

Learning to stay focus and being bigger than our challenges
by projecting more positive qualities than negative will
keep us on the right path to success.
